Restaurants at the Praca get extremely busy in the peak summer months so bookings are recommended. There is also The Tennis Café and Memories of China located at the Tennis Academy, and Spikes at the Golf Club House.

Breeze Papagaio Beach Restaurant enjoys a perfect location overlooking the beautiful Vale do Lobo Beach.
The famous restaurant has re-opened after a lengthy refurb, and has taken a much more contemporary image, with clean lines and aluminium and white resin furniture, to give a fantastic beach holiday feel, with high quality finishes and a new attitude towards service and quality.
This restaurant is perfect for families wanting a menu that serves up all the usual Italian classics, as well as meat and fish specialities. The restaurant is situated in front of the live entertainment that takes place every night in the summer, on stage at the centre of the Praca. La Terrazza provides a takeaway service for those who would prefer to eat at their villa.
This bar/restaurant is well remembered and often revisited by many guests. Serving international cuisine both inside and out and overlooking the cobbled Praca area this restaurant is also in an ideal spot for watching the live entertainment. The bar is one of the liveliest in the evenings with live music, karaoke and dancing that continues into the small hours of the morning. All major sports matches are shown at Monty’s, usually accompanied by a great atmosphere.
The Tea House Oriental
A favourite for those with a taste for oriental cuisine, The Tea House serves a fantastic menu of Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Singapore and Indonesian cuisine. The restaurant is located above Monty’s, giving diners a lofty view over the happenings of the praca below, and a view to the ocean, from where a welcome sea breeze often reaches the outdoor tables. The staff are very attentive and the kitchen is flexible with their menu; the waiters will often recommend a variety of tasters as a starter to share amongst the table, which is a great way to begin your meal here.
A trendy and sophisticated Italian restaurant located on a wooden decked patio and also overlooking the central Praca area. Black wicker furniture and red tableware creates a dramatic look to this restaurant. The menu is vast and will have something to suit everyone. Amore has an upper deck where black wicker sofas provide a pleasant area to relax with a drink.
La Place provides a fine dining experience in a very convenient location. Situated above Amore, this restaurant caters for adults with mature palates and has attentive service and an exquisite menu. Be aware that you will need to book here in the peak months and that the outdoor dining area overlooks the lively Praca, so although the restaurant inside creates a peaceful ambience, the outdoor terrace can get noisy.
A favourite of many guests due to its unbeatable location at the front of the Praca and its panoramic views of the ocean, Sandbanks serves lunches and dinners and has a children’s menu too. The restaurant has a wide array of tasty dishes, specifically fresh fish and also has an upper deck with bar service that overlooks the ocean.
This café is open all day, serving breakfasts, notably delicious pancakes and snacks including milkshakes, ice creams, cold drinks and, of course, fantastic and elaborate crepes. La Creperie is open until late and many people choose to have dessert here after a meal elsewhere.
Just a few steps down from the main Praca area and leading directly onto the beach, this restaurant is relaxed, serving great lunches of salads, sandwiches and more substantial meals. This is the perfect place to enjoy a casual lunch while spending the day on the beach. In the evenings Beach Club turns into a lively bar, playing the latest chart music and attracting a young crowd.
So named due to the large mosaic gecko whose head greets party-goers at the entrance and whose tails sweeps around the inside of the club. Situated just a few steps down from the main Praca area, Gecko Club hosts a resident D.J. and energetic barmen. The club opens at 23.00 and begins to get busy around midnight. During the peak summer months the club is extremely popular so an earlier arrival is recommended.
Restaurants and Bars at the Vale do Lobo Golf Club
Spikes restaurant and bar is a relaxed environment for both golfers and non-golfers to enjoy a drink or a meal. The pretty outdoor patio overlooks a putting green and breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served here. Inside the peaceful bar area is open until about 11pm

The Tennis Café is a restaurant and bar located in the Tennis Academy’s club house.
The large terrace which overlooks the tennis courts and swimming pool, within the tranquil setting of Tennis Valley. The Tennis Café begins with breakfast and serves a wide variety of drinks, meals and snacks thoughout the day.
The menu offers a selection of healthy dishes and fresh juices to provide the perfect refreshment after a hard fought match. Daily lunch-time chef's specials are tasty and competitively priced.
Ken Lo's Memories of China
The restaurant offers a refined and relaxing ambience and includes a magnificent terrace overlooking Tennis Valley, that is used all throughout the summer season. The menu is diverse, providing a fine selection of chinese dishes to suit every palate.
