Casa Barreto is a spacious and comfortable villa, fully air condtioned, that enjoys a good location in Vale de Parra, close to the Salgados golf course and just a short drive away from the beach. The villa is set in a large plot with extensive lawn gardens and has a delightful swimming pool and surrounding terraces, perfect for soaking up the warm Algarve sun. This villa is available to rent as a three bedroom villa or a four bedroom villa depending on the required occupancy, or can be booked alongside the neighbouring cottages to sleep up to 16 persons!
This lovely villa is built on two floors, and is set in spacious gardens, approximately 1 acre in size, just behind the Salgados golf course. The interiors of the villa are also spacious, light and comfortable. It is south east facing, with views to the golf course and the sand dunes behind Galé beach.
Casa Barreto is air conditioned throughout with reverse cycle heating and electric shutters offer shade and security.
Living Areas
The ground floor of the villa consists of the kitchen and the 'L'shaped open plan living and dining room with double patio doors opening onto the pool terrace. The living area is air conditioned with a TV, local satellite channels, DVD player and comfy sofas.
The spacious modern kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric hobs and fridge freezer, and has a breakfast table that seats 6 persons. There is an external laundry area with a washing machine for clients use.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
En suite bedroom one and the guest cloak room are on the ground floor. En suite bedrooms two to four are on the first floor of the villa.
Bedroom one on the ground floor is a double bedroom with full en suite bathroom, double wardrobes and air conditioning. The first floor of the villa has three more bedrooms- two twin rooms and one double room, all with full en suite bathrooms, A/C, double wardrobes and two with terraces to the front of the house overlooking the pool.
Outside Space
Outside, the large hedged garden offers privacy and the swimming pool measures approximately 4 metres x 8 metres. There is lots of space for relaxing in the sun on the poolside terraces and a traditional barbecue is handily positioned close to the kitchen.
Location
The beach, shops and restaurants are approximately 1.5 kms away, and the town of Albufeira is 6kms away, so a car is recommended although there are two restaurants within walking distance. Also close by is the club house of the Salgados 18 hole golf course, and you will also find tennis and a riding centre in the area. Beautiful walks along the sand dunes and the local beaches of Salgados and Gale, as well as the general unspoilt area, make this a real holiday house.

Directly next door to Casa Barreto are two adjoining two bedroom cottages which can be booked alongside the main villa to enable joint sleeping accommodation for up to 16 persons. The cottages have their own swimming pool, which measures approximately 8 metres x 4 metres, a traditional BBQ, a small roof terrace with country views and plenty of room for parking on the separate driveway.
The first of the two cottages has an open plan kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is well equipped, with appliances including a fridge freezer, microwave, oven, hobs, coffee maker and dishwasher. A washing machine is housed in a separate outdoor room, and this is shared between the two cottages. A bathroom with bath and shower over leads from the dining area. There are two air conditioned bedrooms, one double room and one twin room, and a small living room, with freeview satellite TV and air conditioning.
The second of the cottages features an open plan living room and kitchen with dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, gas hobs, microwave, oven, kettle and coffee maker. The living room has a TV with freeview satellite channels. There are two air conditioned bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a shared bathroom with tub and shower over.
