The house is approached by a sweeping tree lined driveway, there is even a beautiful stone fountain under the trees. Inside the elegance continues, each room is decorated to a different style giving the feeling of a small boutique hotel.
Quinta Boa Vista is furnished throughout with a superb selection of quality antique furniture, handed down through generations of the Portuguese owners’ family giving it a feeling of grandeur.
Living Areas
There is a large homely lounge with traditional leather sofa and armchairs, English Sky free to air TV and German satellite TV, A/C and piano. From the lounge there is access directly outside to the pool area. Aswell as the main lounge there is a small lounging area nestled between bedrooms 4 and 5 furnished with wooden table and four chairs, with a stone chess board and patio doors to an attractive vestibule, planted and partially covered with canvas shades.
The dining room, with stunning wooden floor has a striking central fireplace of stone and brass, and is furnished with a large banquet table and chairs, large traditional dresser containing full dinner service, and benefits from a small 'snug' area at one end with comfy leather chairs. There are patio doors to the garden.
The light and airy kitchen breakfast room has beautiful hand-painted tiles, traditional fully fitted dark wood units, and dual aspect views over the garden and surrounding countryside. It is well equipped with gas oven, hob, double sink, dishwasher, coffee machine and microwave. The adjoining utility room houses the fridge and freezer, as well as the washing machine, and conveniently a door leading to the garden and clothes line.
The Games room is a fine addition to this property, with a pool table, basic multi-gym equipment, comfy sofa, TV, DVD player, a vast selection of reading books and even a drum kit - there will be something to keep everyone amused.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
This rustic portuguese house has 5 huge bedrooms, 2 with en-suite bathroom, plus 2 newly-refurbished and fully tiled shower rooms finished to a very high standard.
The huge individually decorated bedrooms are all beautifully furnished with wardrobes, bed side tables etc, and four of the five bedrooms have either en-suite or private bath or shower rooms, Air Conditioning and ceiling fans.
Bedroom details:- Master Suite with large double bed and en-suite with walk-in shower. Built in wardrobes, portable TV, suit hanger, full length mirror, tall ball, A/C and ceiling fan. Patio doors to pool area.
Bedroom 2 with double bed, wardrobe, full length mirror, A/C and patio doors to pool area. Uses shower room across the hall.
Bedroom 3 with double four-poster bed, full length mirror, built in wardrobes, chest of drawers, A/C and patio doors to the pool area. Uses shower room across the hall.
Bedroom 4 with double bed (two twins made as a double), built in wardrobes, writing table and chair and window with courtyard views and distant views over Silves. This bedroom utilises one of the shower rooms across from bedrooms 2 and 3.
Bedroom 5 with twin beds and en-suite room with bath/shower. Built in wardrobes, portable TV, nursing chair, A/C and ceiling fan. Dual aspect windows overlooking the gardens.
Outside Space
The large secluded south facing swimming pool gets the sun all day, and is surrounded by a large terrace, and fringed by mature hedging and trees. The swimming pool measures approximately 12 metres x 6 metres, with a shallow end of 0.9 metres and a deep end of 2.0 metres.
There are lots of sun loungers, and parasol for those who prefer the shade. Under the pagoda is the outdoor kitchen area with cooker, fridge/freezer and sink, along with the adjoining large stone table with benches, which offers a cool and tranquil space to dine al fresco. Next to the pool is a lawned area with built in BBQ.
Extensive mature gardens surround the property, and provide both sunny and shaded rest areas with seating, ideal for relaxing with your favourite novel, playing chess, or simply relaxing.
Location
Nearest beach in Carvoeiro is just 10 mins by car, and lots of other beaches all very close to this particular stretch of coastline is dramatically beautiful, certainly the best in the Algarve and contains probably the best clifftop walks to be had anywhere in the world.
Golf- The new Silves Pestana Golf Course is just 5 minutes drive away, and 2 other courses within 8 minutes drive, many others are all less than a 30 minute drive.
The historic town of Silves is dominated by its castle, you can wander the cobbled streets, visit the market and try one of the many cafés, bars or restaurants. Faro airport is 35 mins east by car, and in our opinion car hire is essential, 4km to Lagoa, 10km Carvoeiro. 1km to Silves Gare where you can catch a train to anywhere in the Algarve. Two water parks are near, Slide and Splash is only 5 mins drive, Aqualand is 8 mins

Wi-fi internet included in the rate. Air Conditioning is available in the living room and four of the five bedrooms for a weekly supplemental charge. In high season changeover is Saturdays only. Outside high season changover day can be flexible. Check in time is 2pm, Check out time is 10am.
Bed linen and towels included. Maid service clean linen & towels weekly, clean towels also supplied midweek.
All bookings between 01 November and 31 March are subject to an additional charge for electricity.
