The Campus Tennis Academy
At The Campus, everyone is supported to achieve their dreams. That’s why we’ve created the Tennis Academy, especially to support and coach young people to succeed in their favourite sport. The Junior Academy is open to people from age 4 to 18 and focus on two crucial areas of training: development and performance. With expert coaching, members are taught to cultivate their passion for the sport, train with discipline and resilience and, above all, have fun.
Growning Champions
In 2020-2021 The Campus Tennis Academy achieved more than 20 titles in regional and national tournaments, including 1st place in Senior Women’s Regional Championship (singles, doubles and mixed categories), 2nd place in Regional Championship U16 Men’s (singles and mixed doubles categories), 2nd place in Regional Championship U18 Men’s (singles category), 1st place in Regional U16 Men’s (doubles categories) and much more!
The Encosta Club resort has two hard court tennis courts which are located south of the swimming pool facility. The show tennis court has terraced seating for spectators and a beautiful, traditionally covered area to sit in the shade on those sunny days. The location of the tennis courts adjacent to the pool bar makes it ideal to request refreshments for both players and spectators.
Encosta Tennis Academy Partnership
The Encosta Club is located just 800m from the world class Campus sports facilities which also offer four acrylic tournament courts, as used at the USA Open, and two synthetic clay courts. The Campus has recently become a regular location for the Futures Professional Tennis Tour and often provides great sports events for families. The Encosta concierge team is happy to organise lessons with a raft of elite coaches to help beginners start their tennis journey through to advanced lessons for those more competitive guests.
