Quinta Palmares is a truly stunning four bedroom luxury villa sleeping nine persons, designed with Moroccan influences, and situated on an extensive and private plot with spectacular far-reaching coastal views in the idyllic surroundings of Vale de Parra. The beautiful local beaches, including the renowned Sao Rafael and Gale beaches, are just a short 5-10 minute drive away. Featuring a heated swimming pool, a private tennis court and a lovely exterior dining area overlooking the Koi carp pond, this premium quality villa is highly recommended for your relaxing holiday in the Algarve. With air conditioning throughout, included in the rental rates.

The owners of Quinta Palmares kindly provide a basic welcome pack for all arrivals that includes water, beer, white wine, bread, cheese, butter, milk, coffee capsules and tea bags.

Living Areas

The entrance doors to the villa open to the entrance hall with distinctive high ceilings and guest cloakroom, and which leads to the spacious living room with split unit a/c, wall mounted flat screen TV with BBC and ITV channels and music system with CD player and radio. Double patio doors open directly to the poolside terrace with amazing views all the way to the sea.

The kitchen is open plan to the dining area, with table and seating for 8 persons, and to a snug area with comfy sofa, TV, DVD player and I-pod dock. This open plan area is also air conditioned. The kitchen is fully equipped, with appliances including a coffee maker, American style fridge freezer with ice maker, integrated oven and microwave, 6 gas hobs, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and manual juicer. The breakfast table provides seating for 4 persons. Adjacent to the kitchen is the utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Quinta Palmares has four en suite bedrooms. Bedrooms one to three are on the main bedroom wing leading from the entrance hallway. Bedroom one has a double bed, split unit a/c, dressing area, window to the forecourt and an en suite bathroom with corner bath.

Bedroom two has a double bed, dressing area, split unit a/c, window to the forecourt and an en suite bathroom. Bedroom three is the master suite, complete with double bed, patio doors leading directly to the poolside terrace, split unit a/c, a large dressing room with double wardrobes and make-up area and an en suite bathroom with double vanities, spa bath, separate shower unit and towel heater.

Bedroom four is a triple room with three single beds, split unit a/c, double wardrobes, a window with far reaching coastal views and an en suite shower room. (Please note that this bedroom was previously a twin bedroom and the current photo of this bedroom only shows two of the three beds, we will update the presentation with a new photograph in due course).

Outside Space

The electric entry gates of Quinta Palmares open onto the driveway which leads up to the impressive forecourt where there is plenty of space for the parking of cars, or alternatively the garage is available and can park two vehicles.

The swimming pool measures 12 x 6 metres, with the deep end of the pool 2.0 metres in depth and the shallow end 0.90 metres. The pool can be heated for a weekly supplemental charge. The extensive poolside terraces are furnished with 8 sun loungers and stunning far reaching coastal views can be enjoyed whilst you relax in the beautiful summer sun.

Lawn gardens flank either side of the poolside terrace, and steps lead down to the lovely exterior dining terrace, complete with two charcoal BBQs and affording views over the Koi carp pond with an island and bridge. And the fabulous private tennis court will for sure be the scene of many family holiday tournaments!

Location

Quinta Palmares is situated in an elevated position in the tranquil settings of Vale de Parra, near Albufeira and enjoys a superb central location. Some of the Algarve's most beautiful picture postcard beaches are within close driving distance, including the renowned Sao Rafael and Gale beaches. There is a wide range of good restaurants in the area, including some within walking distance of the villa- and also within close walking distance is the local supermarket and cafe, where there are also ATM machines.

Within 10-15 minutes drive are a number of local attractions- including the marina of Albufeira; the old town of Albufeira and the fisherman's beach; the town of Guia (which is famous for its chicken piri-piri restaurants; the Algarve shopping complex where there is a wide range of shops and eateries and also Zoomarine, the famous family attraction is also close by. The nearest golf course, Salgados, is 10 minutes drive away.

Rates include a midweek clean and towel change; and a weekly clean, towel and linen change. Pool towels, a safe and hairdryers in all of the bathrooms are included for your convenience. Wi-fi internet is available for the checking of personal emails and general web browsing only.
