Overview

Villa Pitaya is a traditional yet charming four bedroom property, set across three levels on an elevated plot. The villa enjoys a private swimming pool (heating available for a weekly supplement), a jacuzzi hot tub, and extensive mature gardens laid to lawn with a variety of trees and shrubs. Secure electric entrance gates lead to a spacious forecourt with ample parking. Air conditioning throughout, along with fibre optic Wi-Fi, are included in the rental rates.

Living Areas

The open plan living, dining, and kitchen area is bright and spacious, with bamboo wooden flooring throughout. This welcoming space includes a large dining table with chairs, generous and comfortable sofa seating, and two air conditioning units. A wall-mounted flat screen Smart TV provides a wide choice of cable channels, including popular English channels BBC, ITV, TNT Sports, and Sky Sports. Double patio doors open directly onto the poolside terrace.

The air conditioned kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all the appliances you'll need during your stay, including an integrated electric oven, grill & microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, American double fridge freezer with a water dispenser, a wine cooler, a sandwich toaster, Nutribullet, four electric hobs, an extractor, juicer & a kettle. Patio doors open onto the outside BBQ area. There is also a guest cloakroom on this level.

Stairs lead down to the garage, where you will find the washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board. There is also an extra fridge freezer here.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

All four bedrooms are finished with bamboo wooden flooring and benefit from individual air conditioning units. Each room is equipped with a Smart TV — perfect for streaming your favourite shows with your own login details — along with English cable channels.

On the ground floor, you’ll find bedrooms one, two, and three. Bedroom one is a double room with fitted wardrobes and an en suite bathroom with a heated towel rail. Bedroom two is a double room with an additional single bed, fitted wardrobes, and an en suite bathroom with a heated towel rail. Bedroom three is a double room with fitted wardrobes and patio doors that open onto a front facing balcony. This bedroom uses one of the other bedrooms' en suite bathrooms.

Stairs lead up to the double bedroom master suite with a walk-in wardrobe, a safe, and an en suite full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto a spacious balcony with two sun loungers and a further private balcony.

Outside Space

The spacious outdoor terrace is designed for relaxation. The private swimming pool measures approximately 12m x 5m and has steps for easy entry (the pool can be heated for an additional weekly supplement). Eight sun loungers line the poolside, while a shade sail beside the living room provides welcome cover for those who prefer to unwind on the outdoor sofas and chairs away from the sun.

The Jacuzzi accommodates up to eight guests, and is perfectly positioned on the poolside terrace — an ideal spot to relax after a day at the beach. For al fresco dining, the villa offers both a gas and a charcoal BBQ, along with a large covered wooden pergola, complete with two dining tables and seating for up to fourteen people. Both outdoor living areas are fitted with wall-mounted heaters for the cooler evenings.

The villa is set within extensive lawns, offering plenty of space for children to play. Two swings and a hammock hang from the tall trees, providing both shade and the perfect spot to while away a warm summer day. For added peace of mind, the entire property is fully fenced, ensuring both privacy and security.

Location

Villa Pitaya enjoys an enviable location, less than a five minute walk from the renowned Campus gym and set alongside the 6th fairway of Quinta do Lago’s South Course. The villa is also close to Quinta do Lago Lake, home to the Casa do Lago restaurant, the stylish Shack bar, and a water sports centre. The beach can be reached with a leisurely 20 minute walk, while Quinta Shopping, with its designer boutiques and restaurants, is just a five minute drive away. For those exploring on two wheels, there is easy access to both Gigi and Ancão beaches by bike
