Overview

Vallaca is a charming house affording a lovely setting, where you will be able to enjoy the peace of the countryside and the beauty of the surrounding area.

A 150-year-old villa, it has been lovingly restored, keeping original features such as the beautiful, beamed ceilings and cooling tiled floors, but combined with a fresh décor throughout.

It offers spacious and comfortable accommodation on two levels in the main villa, as well as a separate annexe by the villa entrance.

The split-level open and covered terraces, with outdoor furniture, and the pool area enjoy wonderful country views, there are lovely gardens laid to lawn, with palm trees & shrubs, table and chairs, and barbecue for alfresco dining.

Vallaca is located 2.9kms away from the lovely little village of Calonge, with local facilities and amenities, and 15/20 minutes' drive to the sandy beaches in & around Cala D’Or.

Note, regarding the suitability of Vallaca, the wooden stairs to the first floor are steep and not suitable for children, elderly, or those with limited mobility.

Living Areas

6 steps up to covered terrace and villa entrance;

Ground floor – Living/dining area with beamed ceilings & cooling tiled floors, corner banco seating & easy chair, Satellite TV, CD/Radio, iPod station, WIFI and doors to terrace. Archway to compact kitchen with induction hob & electric oven, microwave, and door to the outside.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Ground floor – 1 shower room (also housing washing machine).

First floor – Note the wooden stairs to the first floor are steep and not suitable for children, elderly, or those with limited mobility – 1 double bedroom with ceiling fan, 1 twin bedroom with ceiling fan, 1 shower room.

Exterior access to annexe by entrance – 1 double bedroom with ceiling fan and en-suite shower room.

Outside Area

A delightful exterior with a rectangular swimming pool, split-level open & covered terraces, lovely gardens laid to lawn, with palm trees & shrubs, table and chairs, and barbecue for alfresco dining.

Cot and highchair are available on request and are included free of charge.

Maid service will be on arrival day and change of towels during the week for a reservation of 7 days.

No air conditioning in the bedrooms, but the lovely stone walls keep the property cool, and there are fans in the bedrooms.

Central heating available on request, at a supplementary charge of 28 euros per day.

Balearics Tourism License – ET-2106

There is a local tourist tax called ECO TAX for all visitors to the Balearic Islands, the cost is 2 Euro and 20 Cents per person per night for persons 16 years and over for the first 8 nights, after which the rate reduces to 1 euro 10 cents per night. This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts on the final accommodation invoice and passed by our local agents to the Balearics Government.
