Exclusive to the Sun-hat luxury villa portfolio, we are proud to present Villa Vista Dourada, a stunning four bedroom villa that is stylishly decorated and furnished throughout to a very high standard. Villa Vista Dourada translates to 'Golden View' which is exactly what this magnificent villa offers, with far reaching views across the Algarve countryside all the way to the coastline and the Atlantic Ocean.

The villa sleeps ten persons as two of the spacious en suite bedrooms are triple rooms, and is ideally located in the beautiful and peaceful area of Vale Formoso, which is in the heart of the Algarve's Golden Triangle. Within close walking distance of the villa are some of the area's finest restaurants, and the town of Almancil is just a few minutes drive away. The prestigious golfing resort of Quinta do Lago and the fashionable Quinta shopping centre are less than a ten minute drive away.

Featuring underfloor heating in the bathrooms and with wi-fi internet and air conditioning both included in the rental rate. Electric shutters and mosquito screens throughout, and telephone entry system. Pool heating is available for a weekly supplement if required.

Please note that below Villa Vista Dourada there is a self-contained apartment where the housekeeper lives. The entrance to this apartment is adjacent to the charcoal BBQ and seating area and is therefore separate and away from the main villa entrance and from the pool area of the villa. Should clients staying at Vista Dourada need anything during their stay then the housekeeper is conveniently close by.

Living Areas

The living areas of the villa focus on the breath taking views which need to be seen to believed!. The open plan living/dining room is air conditioned and has a dining table and chairs; a wall mounted TV with a wide range of English language cable channels including Sky sports, BT Sports, BBC, and ITV and a Bluetooth speaker so you can stream your own favourite music. The living room leads to the covered terrace with dining table and full length glass windows that really make the most of the sensational far reaching views (can be rolled back in the Summer months).

Villa Vista Dourada is a perfect property for both Summer and Winter rentals, as in the Winter the property is designed so that it always gets the sun and in the evenings the fireplace makes the living room very warm and cosy. As an example, the photography for this villa was taken in the Winter months.

The kitchen is fully equipped for your self-catering needs with appliances including an electric oven, extractor fan, central island with 6 gas hobs, expresso coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, kettle and manual juicer. Outside the kitchen is a small terrace with table and chairs, great for your al-fresco morning coffees whilst enjoying the beautiful views. The washing machine, dryer and iron & ironing board are located downstairs in the utility room.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedrooms one, two and three are positioned in a corridor leading from the living room where the guest cloakroom is also situated. Bedroom one is an air conditioned triple bedroom with a double and a single bed and an en suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom two is also an air conditioned triple bedroom with a double and a single bed and with an en suite shower room.

Bedroom three is an air conditioned bedroom with a double bed and an additional sitting area with a wall mounted flat screen TV. Patio doors lead to the side terrace and this bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower.

The fourth bedroom is the master bedroom suite upstairs, an air conditioned double bedroom with a flat screen TV and an en suite bathroom with double vanities, spa bath and a shower unit. Patio doors lead the master suite balcony with amazing panoramic views.

Outside Space

Villa Vista Dourada's exterior areas have once again been designed so that the spectacular view can be enjoyed from many vantage points, such as whilst you relax on your sunbed on the poolside terrace. The swimming pool measures 10 metres x 5 metres with steps entry and can be heated for a weekly supplemental charge. There is a manual pool cover to help protect the temperature at night.

Steps from the poolside terrace lead down to an idyllic part of the villa grounds with citrus trees and where a traditional charcoal BBQ and extra seating are situated under the shade of a large tree. Elsewhere on the villa grounds, close to the entrance is a herb garden. There is also plenty of space on the villa forecourt, protected by the electric entrance gates. There is an additional gas BBQ on the poolside terrace close to the main exterior dining terrace.

Location

Villa vista Dourada is located in Vale Formoso, a short distance north of Almancil, a town in the heart of the golden triangle. Guests staying at this villa will be able to experience living in a countryside environment with the local Portuguese people as neighbours, yet you are still within close distance of a wide range of amenities.

Within walking distance from the villa are the locally renowned restaurants A Quinta and the Michelin star Henrique Leis restaurant and there are also a selection of good value restaurants to choose from further down the hill in the direction of Almancil, a town where you will find supermarkets, banks, chemists, shops, bars and restaurants.

It is only a 10 minute drive from the villa to the prestigious golf resort of Quinta do Lago, with five golf courses, fine restaurants, the fashionable Quinta shopping centre and some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches can be found in this area. Heading north from the villa in the direction of Loule, a busy Portuguese town with a weekly market, you are just 10 minutes away from the brand new Mar shopping centre, which has a wide range of shops, eateries, an outlet shopping centre and cinema.

Other Items

Rates include a midweek maid service and towel change. If staying for two weeks you will also receive a mid-stay clean, linen change and towel change and then an additional clean and towel change midway through the following week. Also included are two safes, hairdryers and pool towels for your convenience.

Please note that Villa Vista Dourada is being offered with a 15% discount on all dates outside of July and August 2024 to take into consideration any background noise from a villa that is being built in the local vicinity. The local Loule council do not allow noisy building work during the peak months of July and August so stays at Villa Dourada during these two months are not discounted.
