Sun-hat would like to introduce you to Villa Bird, a delightful five bedroom property with a private pool, nestled in the picturesque hills of Vale Formoso, just a stone's throw away from Almancil. This charming property offers a perfect blend of tranquillity and convenience, making it an ideal retreat for families and friends looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Algarve region. Living Areas

The large modern kitchen is divided into two sections, both of which are air conditioned. The first section features a central island with three accompanying stools and is equipped with various appliances such as a toaster, filter coffee machine, dishwasher, juicer, and an American fridge freezer. Additionally, it includes four gas hobs, an extractor, and an electric oven. The second section of the kitchen also has air conditioning and features a five hob gas range cooker and oven, an extractor, an air fryer, a kettle, and a fridge freezer, there is also a spacious table with seating for six people. Patio doors lead directly to the BBQ terrace. Furthermore, a utility room is found off the kitchen and houses the washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board.

The lounge is furnished with ample comfy sofa seating, dining table and chairs, split unit air conditioning, a flat screen Smart TV showing a wide range of cable channels including the English language channels BBC, ITV, BT Sports and Sky Sports (please bring your own log-in credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime etc) and patio doors leading to the front garden.

There is a further seating area with a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV showing the same channels as the previous TV (please bring your own log-in credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime etc) and has patio doors that lead to the poolside terrace. There is an electric awning that provides shade to this window. Adjacent to this seating area is a family gathering space complete with air conditioning, a large table with seating for twelve people, a bar with two stools and patio doors that open onto the BBQ terrace. There is also a guest cloakroom on this level.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

All of the bedrooms have blackout blinds. Bedrooms one and two are on the entrance level of the villa. Bedroom one is a double room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. Bedroom two is a double room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail.

Stairs lead up to bedrooms three, four and five. Bedroom three is a double room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto a small balcony. Bedroom four is a double room with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes and an en suite bathroom with a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto a balcony with far reaching sea views. Bedroom five is the master double room with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes and an en suite bathroom with a corner bath, walk-in shower unit and a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto a private balcony again with far reaching sea views.

Outside Space

This lovely property boasts a poolside terrace equipped with comfortable sunbeds, so is perfect for soaking up the sun. The pool itself measures approximately 8m x 4m and features convenient steps for easy entry. The private garden is partially covered in lush green lawn and offers a tranquil retreat. Additionally, guests can enjoy the convenience of an outside shower for a quick cool down. The outside dining area is complete with table and chairs for al fresco meals.

Location

Villa Bird is located in Vale Formoso, a short distance north of Almancil, a town in the heart of the golden triangle. Guests staying at this villa will be able to experience living in a countryside environment with the local Portuguese people as neighbours, yet you are still within close distance of a wide range of amenities. Within walking distance from the villa are the locally renowned restaurants A Quinta and the Michelin star Henrique Leis restaurant and there is also a selection of good value restaurants to choose from further down the hill in the direction of Almancil, a town where you will find supermarkets, banks, chemists, shops, cafes and restaurants.

It is only a 10-minute drive from the villa to the prestigious golf resort of Quinta do Lago, with five golf courses, fine restaurants, the fashionable Quinta shopping centre and some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches can be found in this area. Heading north from the villa in the direction of Loule, a busy Portuguese town with a weekly market, you are just 10 minutes away from the brand new Mar shopping centre, which has a wide range of shops, eateries, an outlet shopping centre and cinema.
