Exclusive to the Sun-hat portfolio, we are very proud to present Villa Abobada, a beautiful five bedroom villa with private pool that has been built, furnished and equipped to a premium standard throughout, creating this impressive property that is just perfect for your relaxing family villa holiday in the Algarve. 'Abobada' means 'dome' in Portuguese, and as you enter the villa entrance hall, you will see the stylish and distinctive domed ceiling from which the villa name is derived from.

Villa Abobada enjoys a fantastic location, in a peaceful countryside setting near to the Vale Formoso area, where you are just a few minutes away from a selection of local restaurants and the town of Almancil. The prestigious golf resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are approximately only 10 minutes drive away.

Air conditioning and Wi-fi internet are included in the rental rates. Pool heating is available for a weekly supplement if required.

Living Areas

Lovely spacious air conditioned lounge, comfortably furnished and with a large flat screen TV with a wide range of channels available, including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and BT Sports (Sports channels are to be reviewed at the end of October). Separate air conditioned dining area and patio doors leading directly to the poolside terrace and to the side lawn garden.

The kitchen is of a contemporary design and is fully equipped, with appliances including a dishwasher, toaster, kettle, Delta coffee machine, fridge freezer, microwave, central island with 4 x electric hobs and a large oven. There is a separate laundry room complete with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board.

Also on the ground floor there is an additional guest cloakroom with shower that has access to the poolside terrace.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedrooms one and two are on the ground floor of the villa. Bedroom one has a double bed; air conditioning; patio doors leading directly to the poolside terrace and an en suite bathroom with bath and shower unit. Bedroom two has twin beds; air conditioning; patio doors to the terrace and an en suite bathroom with shower unit.

Bedrooms three, four and five are on the first floor of the villa. Bedroom three has a double bed; air conditioning; a Juliet balcony with countryside views and patio doors to the first floor terrace that overlooks the pool and an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower unit.

Bedroom four is a twin bedroom with air conditioning; doors to the first floor terrace overlooking the pool and an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower unit.

Bedroom five is the excellent master suite with double bed; private terrace with pool and countryside views; air conditioning; wall mounted flat screen smart TV; dressing area; safe and a large en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, double vanities and bath.

Outside Space

Entry to the villa and the villa forecourt is via the entrance driveway, protected by the electric entry gates. The generously sized swimming pool measures 12 x 5 metres with steps entry, and the pool can be heated for a supplemental charge. The poolside terrace, flanked by extensive lawn gardens, is furnished with sun loungers, and al-fresco meals can be enjoyed on the terrace, cooked on the charcoal BBQ, where this is an integrated food preparation area and drinks chiller.

Location

Villa Abobada is located in the Vale Formoso area, a short distance north of Almancil, a town in the heart of the golden triangle. Guests staying at this villa will be able to experience living in a countryside environment yet you are still within close distance of a wide range of amenities.

Within close distance from the villa are the locally renowned restaurants A Quinta and the Michelin star Henrique Leis restaurant and there are also a selection of good value restaurants to choose from in the area and further down the hill in the direction of Almancil, a town where you will find supermarkets, banks, chemists, shops, bars and restaurants.

It is only approximately a 10 minute drive from the villa to the prestigious golf resorts of Quinta do Lago, with five golf courses, fine restaurants, the fashionable Quinta shopping centre and some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches can be found in this area. Heading north from the villa in the direction of Loule, a busy Portuguese town with a weekly market, you are just 10 minutes away from the brand new Mar shopping centre, which has a wide range of shops, eateries, an outlet shopping centre and cinema.
