Overview

Welcome to Villa Colunas, a lovely 3+1 bedroom villa, built on three levels with a private salt water pool (which can be heated for a weekly supplement). Located in the impressive Quinta Verde development the villa has fantastic interiors and great outdoor space to compliment the excellent location where there is lots to do in the local area- this is a great villa for your holiday in the Algarve.

Living Areas

As you enter, the bright hallway steps lead down to the spacious lounge and separate dining area. The living area is comfortably furnished and includes a large flat screen Smart TV with a sound bar showing a wide range of cable channels including the English language channels BBC, ITV, BT Sports and Sky Sports (please bring your own log-in passwords to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime etc); comfortable sofa seating and triple patio doors opening directly to the poolside terrace. Two steps lead you to the dining area furnished with a large glass table with seating for eight people. Double patio doors open directly to the BBQ area and garden.

Through to the modern well equipped kitchen, beautifully finished in Alderwood and chrome with a wall mounted flat screen TV showing the same channels as the lounge and appliances including four gas hobs, extractor, integrated microwave, electric oven and grill, filter coffee machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, hand blender, fridge freezer and a breakfast bar with stool seating for four people. Double patio doors open onto the exterior shaded dining area. The adjacent utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. There is also a guest cloakroom on this level.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the entrance level of the villa are bedrooms one and two. Bedroom one is a twin room with fitted wardrobes and an en suite full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. Bedroom two is a twin room with fitted wardrobes and an en suite full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Patio doors open directly onto the garden and poolside.

Stairs lead up to bedroom three which is the master double suite with a wall mounted flat screen TV showing a wide range of cable channels including the English language channels BBC, ITV, BT Sports and Sky Sports, fitted wardrobes, a safe and an en suite full bathroom with a walk-in shower, double vanities and a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto a private balcony overlooking the gardens.

From the entrance hall stairs lead down to the lower level, and here you will find bedroom four, this is the 'plus one' room which is a double room with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, a safe, and an en suite shower room. This room benefits from natural light via the window which looks out onto the stairwell to the entrance hall.

Outside Space

The property has its own driveway with electric entrance gates, and the south facing rear gardens overlook the spectacular countryside and are laid to lawn with mature shrubs and trees. The 10 metre x 4 metre salt water pool has heating available for a weekly supplement and has an electric cover to help retain the heat at night. The poolside furniture includes sun loungers, chairs and parasols. There is also a shaded raised dining terrace with a gas barbecue and a table with seating for eight people.

Location

Quinta Verde is located within short driving distance of the entrance to Quinta do Lago where you will find 18 hectares of the Ria Formosa Natural Park which falls within Quinta Do Lago boundaries. The Ria Formosa is a tidal inlet that is a protected home of migratory birds. The Quinta Do Lago / Ria Formosa is one of the last unspoilt coastal zones in Europe.

Also close by is Quinta shopping complex where you will find designer boutiques, bars, cafes and restaurants- and the nearby Bougainvillea Plaza where there are various eateries and a supermarket. In the surrounding area the local beaches are some of the most beautiful that the Algarve has to offer.

Rates include a maid cleaning service, bedroom linen and bathroom towels. Hairdryers and two safes are provided for your convenience. Pool heating is available on request for a weekly supplement.
