Exclusive to the Sun-hat luxury portfolio, we are very proud to present the truly stunning Casa Rei, a six bedroom masterpiece located in the prestigious golf resort of Quinta do Lago. ‘Rei’ means King in Portuguese, and this top of the range premium villa is certainly fit for a king! With stunning views of the 2nd fairway of the QDL golf course, Casa Rei features a heated infinity style swimming pool with additional separate jacuzzi; cinema room; games room with pool table and gym equipment; a sauna and much, much more!

The sixth bedroom on the lower level is self-contained with a kitchenette and living room so is perfect for a nanny, or older children, or perhaps just guests who would like additional privacy and independence. With air conditioning and fibre optic Wi-fi throughout included in the rental rates. The use of the sauna is also included in the villa rental price!

Living Areas

The entrance hallway takes you past the guest cloakroom, down a couple of steps to the glorious open plan living area and kitchen, complete with impressive full length windows which fully encapsulate the views of the pool, gardens and golf course beyond. The living area is comfortably furnished with sofas, where you can relax and listen to your favourite sounds via the Sonos music speakers- simply download the app and stream your chosen music directly to the speakers. Alternatively, there is a chess board if you fancy a quick game.

Next to the living area is the dining table with seating for 10 persons, and a door leads to the separate TV room with large wall mounted flat screen smart TV and Sonos soundbar. The TV is complete with a wide range of cable channels, including the English language channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and BT Sports. Bring your own log-in credentials to also be ale to use the smart TV’s Netflix and Amazon Prime, and also the Apple TV.

Filtered water is available next to the kitchen, both hot and cold. The kitchen is extensively equipped, with appliances including 5 gas hobs and extractor; toaster; 2 coffee machines (which make great fresh coffee from coffee beans); American style fridge freezer with ice dispenser; integrated microwave and oven; kettle; sandwich toaster and much more! The adjacent utility room houses the additional drinks and wine chiller; the iron & ironing board; the washing machine and the tumble dryer. There is a Sonos speaker in the kitchen enabling you to dance or sing away whilst preparing your home cooked meals and seating for 4 persons is available both on the breakfast table or the breakfast bar.

The lower level of the villa is literally packed with entertainment treats! Starting with the outstanding cinema room with surround sound and featuring four cinema style seats; additional bean bags; and a bar area with 3 stools and a drinks fridge. The cinema projector screen displays all of the cable channels available in the villa- so including films and sports channels- plus it displays Apple TV and you can access your Netflix, HBO, Prime video accounts. High-res films can also be played on the Blu-ray DVD player so make sure you bring with you a couple of your favourite films to watch and enjoy the cinema experience! Also available for guests’ use in the cinema room is the X-box One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.

Also on the ground floor of the villa is the games room and leisure area. The games room comes complete with a pool table and darts board; a wall mounted TV with the cable channels and a digital Roland piano if you fancy tinkling the ivories! The gym has a running treadmill; free weights and a cross trainer, and following your workout why not relax in the sauna- serviced by a bathroom with shower and wc.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedrooms one and two are on the ground floor of Casa Rei. Bedroom one has twin beds; a wall mounted TV; doors to the terrace with golf views and an en suite bathroom with bath, shower unit and towel heater. Bedroom two has a double bed; wall mounted TV; doors to the terrace with golf views and an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower unit and towel heater.

Bedrooms three, four and five are on the first floor of Casa Rei and are accessed via the landing overlooking the living area of the villa. Bedroom three has a double bed; wall mounted TV; a terrace with a front aspect overlooking the entrance forecourt of the villa and en suite bathroom with bath, large walk-in shower unit and towel heater. Bedroom four has a double bed and this bedroom faces towards the golf course which can be enjoyed from the terrace furnished with table and chairs; wall mounted TV and an en suite with large walk-in shower unit and towel heater.

Bedroom five is the master bedroom- a fabulous suite with a large en suite bathroom complete with dual vanities, bath, large walk-in shower unit and towel heater. The suite has it’s own dressing area with walk-in wardrobe and full length mirror. The bedroom area has a double bed and comfy seating; flat screen TV; electrically controlled curtains and patio doors to the splendid private terrace furnished with 2 sun loungers and with the glorious golf views.

Bedroom six on the lower level is the super self-contained bedroom suite, complete with a kitchenette with fridge freezer and ice maker; oven; induction hobs; de Longhi coffee maker (again this machine uses beans); kettle; toaster; sandwich toaster and washing machine. Seating for dining is provided by the breakfast bar with 2 stools or the dining table with seating for 6 guests. The lounge area is furnished with a comfy sofa, for relaxing on whilst enjoying the cable channels on the flat screen TV with Bose speakers. Double patio doors lead directly to the terrace which faces out onto the lower lawn garden and which is furnished with sun loungers and chairs. The bedroom has a double bed, doors to the terrace and an en suite bathroom with bath, separate shower unit and heated towel rail.

Outside Space

Plenty of off-road parking space on the villa forecourt, protected by the electric entry gates. Beautiful manicured gardens and an extensive lower laid to lawn garden overlooking the golf course. Next to the lawn gardens is the jacuzzi and the garden terrace, both superbly positioned so that the lovely golf views can be enjoyed whilst you relax in the hot tub, or whilst you are enjoying breakfast or coffee on the garden terrace, which is furnished with a breakfast table, a coffee table and comfy seating- and a large parasol provides plenty of shade if required.

The swimming pool is a cracker, sharp and distinctive with black tiling and of an infinity design with overflow. The pool is freeform in shape, measuring approximately 12 metres x 5 metres with steps entry. The pool can be heated if required for a weekly supplemental charge- please note that due to the infinity design of the pool the pool is uncovered and so the water temperature may be susceptible to cooler ambient night time conditions in the lower season months. There is an exterior shower unit next to the pool and the table tennis table will provide entertainment and those enjoyable family tournaments.

The poolside terrace is furnished with sun loungers and relaxing furnishings with shade provided by the large double sized parasol. Also shaded is the exterior dining table and chairs with seating for up to 12 guests, the perfect place to enjoy al-fresco meals freshly cooked on the Beefeater gas BBQ. Why not treat yourself to some fine dining with a private chef cooking for you at your villa? Location

Quinta do Lago is the most exclusive area of the Algarve and is perfect for golfing and family holidays. Situated amongst championship golf courses and with a few minutes drive to a wide choice of beautiful beaches. Many of the finest restaurants in the Algarve are on your doorstep, as is the fashionable Quinta shopping centre.

Casa Rei is located within close distance of the fashionable Quinta Shopping. Here guests can enjoy the wide selection of cafes and restaurants. Quinta do Lago's Campus provides a great gym and a variety of sports courses throughout the year.

Other Items

Rates include a maid cleaning service 3 x per week with bathroom towels changed midweek and weekly; and bedroom linen changed on a weekly basis. Additional maid service may be booked in advance for an hourly supplemental charge- please ask for more details. Pool towels, hairdryers and a safe are provided for your convenience.
