Alemao is rather special - a spectacular five bedroom villa with separate sixth bedroom annexe that is situated in a stunning countryside location with breathtaking far reaching views. Including the usual premium level of Shantivillas service and excellent facilities such as a heated and gated pool; heated children's pool and games room, we highly recommend this outstanding property for your luxury villa holiday with your family and close friends.

The property can be rented as a five bedroom villa using the bedrooms in the main house only, or it can be rented as a six bedroom villa with the use of the exterior annexe suite.

Casa Alemao is one of the prestigious villas from the exclusive Shantivillas collection of luxury properties located in the beautiful countryside of Malhao, near Boliqueime. 'Shanti' means peace, and this stunning portfolio of villas represents the perfect setting for your relaxing, luxury family villa holiday, in picturesque and tranquil surrounds.

Alemao was originally built in 1817 and despite having a complete renovation to a very high standard, the villa still maintains plenty of its original character and charm. With Wi-Fi internet and air conditioning throughout, included in the rental rates. Cots, highchairs and baby buggies are all available upon request and are free of charge also.

Living Areas

Extensive open plan kitchen and dining area, with the kitchen being fully equipped with an American style fridge freezer, 4 x electric hobs, 2 x gas hobs, extractor, microwave, 2 ovens, coffee maker and dishwasher. Breakfast bar and dining room table seating 10 persons. The separate utility room houses the washing machine/dryer and an iron & ironing board.

The living room is comfortable and stylish and is furnished with top quality sofas. The entertainment treats include a flat screen TV with Meo cable channels (with a good selection of English language channels), DVD player, CD player and Bluetooth speaker. There is a guest cloakroom situated close to the living room. Outside of the living room, on the terrace is the first of two exterior dining tables at Casa Alemao.

The second exterior dining table is on the lower (pool) level of the villa grounds, situated next to the integrated charcoal BBQ and the main games room which is superbly equipped with a TV, PlayStation 4 console, DVD player, stereo, drinks fridge and pool table - perfect for those family tournaments! And you will also be very pleased to find a second games room area at Casa Alemao complete with table tennis table and table football table!

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Bedroom one in the main house is accessed via one flight of steps down from the main villa entrance, and is complete with a double bed, seating area, en suite with shower and double wash basins and door leading directly to the garden terrace.

Bedroom two is the master suite with double bed, TV with cable channels, doors to the garden terrace, double wardrobes with safe and an en suite bathroom with shower unit and double wash basins. All of the bathrooms in Alemao have hairdryers.

Bedroom three is a twin bedroom that can be prepared as a double upon request, with doors to the side terrace and an en suite bathroom.

Bedrooms four and five are on the upper level of the main house. Bedroom four has a double bed, an en suite shower room and doors to a small private terrace with far reaching views down to the ocean. Bedroom five has twin beds and an en suite bathroom.

The sixth bedroom is the exterior accessed annexe suite, and this room has split unit air conditioning (the same as all of the other bedrooms at Casa Alemao), a double bed, an en suite bathroom with shower, TV with cable channels, DVD player and a kitchenette with appliances including a hob, extractor and fridge. Outside of the annexe suite, by the terrace, is a charcoal BBQ.

Outside Space

Outside, the extensive and impressive landscaped grounds create a tranquil and relaxing setting with outstanding countryside views to be enjoyed all around the gardens and terraces. From the pool terrace there are also far reaching ocean views.

The pool is freeform in shape and measures approximately 12 x 7 metres with steps entry. The shallow end of the pool is 1.20 metres in depth and the deeper side of the pool is 1.50 metres in depth. The pool can be heated for an additional weekly charge and must be booked in advance. There is also a heated children’s pool which is 0.40 metres in depth and the heating for this pool is free, included in the rental rates.

There is an exterior shower on the pool terrace and male and adjacent female cloakrooms. The terraces are just perfect to enjoy al-fresco dining cooked on the barbecue whilst taking in the glorious panoramic views. There is plenty of space for parking on the villa forecourt.

Location

The villa is located in the peaceful countryside location of Malhao, a charming hamlet 4kms outside of Boliqueime and 8kms from Paderne. In both Boliqueime and Paderne a selection of local bars and restaurants can be found as well as small local supermarkets. The nearest golf course is 16kms away and the closest beach, at Falesia, is 14 kms away or a 20 minute drive. Close to the beach at Falesia are the popular resorts of Vilamoura, Olhos d’Agua and Albufeira. The airport at Faro is 35kms from Casa do Alemao.

Other Items

Included in the price of the villa rental is maid service twice per week (not on Sundays) towel service changed midweek and bed linen changed weekly. Please let us know upon booking if any of the party will be celebrating a birthday or anniversary during the holiday.
