Located on a gently elevated hillside position, the views from this beautiful nine bedroom house can only be described as amazing. Take your pick from admiring the open countryside, the Monchique Mountains, or the far reaching views of the Atlantic Ocean. As you would expect from a house in the same family as Casa de Baixo and Casa Cahombo, this property is hard to beat. This property rents as a 6,7,8 or 9 bedroom villa depending on how many occupants.
Casa da Montanha is one of the prestigious villas from the exclusive Shantivillas collection of luxury properties located in the beautiful countryside of Malhao, near Boliqueime. 'Shanti' means peace, and this stunning portfolio of villas represents the perfect setting for your relaxing, luxury family villa holiday, in picturesque and tranquil surrounds.
The property has Wi-Fi internet and air conditioning throughout included in the rental rate. Outside the entrance there is a garage with space for two cars and additional parking space for a further four cars. The entrance to the house is on the ground floor, where you will also find a cloakroom, living/ dining room, bedroom one, kitchen and utility room. Bedrooms two, three and four are on the first floor of the house, and bedrooms five and six can be found on the lower floor, which is on the same level as the gardens. Away from the main house there is a games room alongside the pool and external access to the King and Queen suites.
The air conditioned living room has a television with satellite channels, DVD player, CD player and Playstation console, and doors lead to a covered terrace.
The spacious kitchen is very well equipped, prepared for up to sixteen guests with a comprehensive list of appliances including a microwave oven, American style fridge freezer and a dishwasher. The separate utility room houses the washing machine. There is a tumble dryer in the garage that clients can use.
Bedroom one on the ground floor is a single room with an en-suite shower room. Master bedroom two (bed measures 1.6m x 2m) on the first floor is a double room with a balcony and an en-suite bathroom with an additional shower unit. Bedroom three on the first floor is a twin bedroom (twin beds together measuring 2 x 0.90m x 1.9m) with an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom four is a single bedroom with an en-suite shower room. This room is accessed only via a separate external entrance.
Bedroom five on the lower level is a double bedroom (bed measures 1.6m x 2m) with a television and an en-suite bathroom with separate shower unit. Bedroom six is a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms in the house are air conditioned.
The King Suite (bed measures 1.6m x 2m) features a living room, double bedroom (no.7) and twin bedroom (no.8). The living room is air conditioned and has a television with satellite channels, DVD player and CD player. The double bedroom and the twin bedrooms both have en-suite shower rooms. The Queen Suite features a living room and an en-suite double bedroom(bed measures 1.6m x 2m) (no.9). The air conditioned living room has a television, DVD player and CD player. The en-suite bathroom has a large spa bath and separate shower unit.
The main swimming pool measures 15 metres x 6.5 metres, and is 1.8 metres in depth at the deep end. The main pool can be heated for an additional weekly charge during the Summer months and must be booked in advance. Next to the main pool there is a heated children’s pool which measures 4 metres x 3 metres in size. There is a selection of open and covered terraces with which to enjoy the views and benefit from the in-built barbecue. This property is child friendly and has a gated area in the garden, away from the swimming pools where the children can play in safety.
Pool safety fencing is available free of charge both around the adults and childrens pools free but must be requested at the time of booking.
The poolside games room has a television with satellite channels, DVD player, CD player, Playstation games console, table football, pool table and a fridge.
The villa is located in the peaceful countryside location of Malhao, 4kms outside of Boliqueime and 8kms from Paderne. In both Boliqueime and Paderne a selection of local bars and restaurants can be found as well as small local supermarkets. The nearest golf course is 16kms away and the closest beach at Falesia is 14 kms away, or a 20 minute drive. Close to the beach at Falesia are the popular resorts of Vilamoura, Olhos d’Agua and Albufeira. The airport at Faro is 35kms from Casa da Montanha.
Included in the price of the villa rental is maid service 6 days per week (except for Sundays) midweek towel service and midweek bed linen change.
Bookings paying the rate for up to 10 guests will have access to just the main house.
Bookings paying the 11-12 guests rate have additional access to one of the bedrooms and the living room in the King suite as well as the main house.
Bookings paying the 13-14 guests rate have access to the entire King suite as well as the main house. Alternatively, the Queen suite can be used for either of these two rates for an extra weekly supplemental charge.
Bookings paying the 15-16 guests rate have access to the Queen Suite, the King Suite and the main house.
