Casa da Baixo is a villa of true elegance and style set in a beautiful countryside location with far reaching panoramic views all the way to the coast. The interiors of the house have been designed with the highest quality and at the poolside there is a marvellous wooden beamed summer house which serves as a kitchen, bar and games room. Casa da Baixo is one of the prestigious villas from the exclusive Shantivillas collection of luxury properties located in the beautiful countryside of Malhao, near Boliqueime. 'Shanti' means peace, and this stunning portfolio of villas represents the perfect setting for your relaxing, luxury family villa holiday, in picturesque and tranquil surrounds.

The property is protected by an electric entry gate with security monitor. There is garage with space for 2 cars and additional space for parking. The property has Wi-Fi internet and all of the bedrooms are air conditioned, which is included in the rental rates. The entrance to the villa is on the ground floor, alongside the kitchen, dining room, living room, sitting room, guest cloakroom and study.

Living Areas

The air conditioned living room has a television with satellite channels, DVD player, CD player and Playstation console, and the dining room next door is also air conditioned with a CD player.

The kitchen is fully equipped for eight guests and appliances include a microwave oven, dishwasher, two ovens and an American style fridge freezer. A separate laundry room houses the washing machine and drier.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the first floor of the villa there is a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. The double room has a television, air conditioning, balcony and en-suite bathroom. The twin bedroom has air conditioning and an en-suite shower room. On the lower level of the villa there are a further two air conditioned bedrooms, one double room and one twin room. The double room has an en-suite bathroom and the twin room has an en-suite shower room.

Outside Space

The beautifully manicured gardens and lawns are spread over two levels and the glorious views reach all the way to the coast with the Algarve countryside in the foreground. The swimming pool measures 15 metres x 5 metres, and is 1.8 metres in depth at the deep end. The pool can be heated for an additional weekly charge and must be booked in advance. There is also a heated children’s pool which measures 7 metres x 3.5 metres.

Pool safety fencing is available free of charge both around the adults and childrens pools free but must be requested at the time of booking.

Next to the poolside is the impressive summer house, which has a bar and kitchen area with a large American style fridge freezer, sink and food preparation area for the in-built barbecue. There are two cloakrooms in the summer house and shaded and open terraces for dining. The summer house also serves as a games room, with a pool table, table football and television with satellite channels, DVD player and Playstation console.

Location

The villa is located in the peaceful countryside location of Malhao, a charming hamlet 4kms outside of Boliqueime and 8kms from Paderne. In both Boliqueime and Paderne a selection of local bars and restaurants can be found as well as small local minimarkets. The nearest golf course is 16kms away and the closest beach, at Falesia, is 14 kms away or a 20 minute drive. Close to the beach at Falesia are the popular resorts of Vilamoura, Olhos d’Agua and Albufeira. The airport at Faro is 35kms from Casa da Baixo.

Other Items

Included in the price of the villa rental is maid service twice per week (except for Sundays & bank holidays) towels changed midweek and bed linen changed weekly. Please let us know upon booking if any of the party will be celebrating a birthday or anniversary during the holiday.

Highchairs, cots and baby buggies are available upon request and are free of charge!
