Casa da Latada is the perfect country house retreat, a traditional “casa ribatejana” on the architecture and layout. Surrounded by an inviting leisure area with lawn gardens, pool, tennis court and lovely terraces and covered alfresco eating areas. Inside it is has elegant country feel décor, and fully equipped for your self-catering needs. Includes Wi-fi Internet.

Living Areas

Living room with flat screen TV with cable channels, DVD player, Wi-fi Internet. Doors to the poolside terraces. Separate study and dining area.

Fully equipped kitchen with appliances including an American fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas hobs, grill, oven, coffee maker, sandwich toaster. Laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedrooms one to three are on the ground floor of the villa. Bedroom one is a double room that utilises the adjacent family bathroom. Bedroom two is a twin bedroom suitable for children and that also utilises the family bathroom. Bedroom three on the ground floor is a double room with an en suite shower.

Bedroom four is the Master suite and this bedroom is situated on the first floor. Complete with TV, separate dressing area, doors to the private terrace and an en suite bathroom with double wash basins. There is a stairgate fitted on the steps leading to this room.

Outside Space

Traditional 'L' shaped villa with the swimming pool in the central courtyard. Parking on the forecourt, spacious villa plot. The pool measures 10 x 6 metres approximately with steps entry.The deep end measures 1.67 metres and the shallow end 1.07 metres. Charcoal BBQ and Summer house with dining table and fridge freezer and shower room. 10 sun loungers. Floodlit tennis court with 5 a-side football goals.

Location

Casa da Latada sits 6 kms from Santarém, known as the gothic capital. The Santarém area has the Tagus River and the fertile meadowlands (Lezírias) as background to the south, and features a landscaped dominated by vineyards and olive groves. The Natural Park of Serra d´Aire and Candeeiros are on it´s borders. Agriculture dominates a region also famous for the bull and horse breeding, and bullfights.

Lisbon is 45 minutes by car. Fátima is 30 minutes away and so is the coast (Foz do Arelho, Peniche). Nazaré is 45 minutes. The nearest village is Cartaxo, where you will find restaurants and a Saturday AM market.

Other Items

Rates include a maid cleaning service 1 x per week on Saturday changeover. Two week bookings receive a mid stay clean, towel and linen change. Pool towels, a hairdryer and a safe are provided for your convenience.
