Overview

Villa Cirera is just a short drive from Alaro, a quiet tradtional Mallorcan town with local shops, cafes, bars & restaurants, and a weekly market on Friday & Saturday.

It is set on the hillside and affords beautiful views of the surrounding area and countryside, dotted with almond and carob trees, and is the perfect choice for a family looking to holiday in an unspoilt and peaceful area, while at the same time being ideally located to explore the island.

With its beautiful stone-clad façade, Villa Cirera offers spacious and very comfortable accommodation over three levels.

There is a living area & games room on the lower ground floor, a further living area, dining, and kitchen, as well as two bedrooms, on the ground floor, with a further two bedrooms located on the first floor.

Air conditioning in the living-dining area and in one bedroom on the ground floor (the double bedroom with en-suite shower room). The rest of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and because the exterior walls are thick and lined with stone, the temperature inside remains constant and comfortable.

The property is also equipped with mosquito nets.

Outside, the L-shaped swimming pool (salt-water), with Roman step entry into the shallow end, is set in a large terrace surround, a lovely spot for sunbathing and for enjoying the views over the surrounding area.

There is a covered chill-out area and more shady seating area, with dining table and chairs, under the pine trees.

Living areas

Ground floor – Living/dining area with 3 comfy sofas, beamed ceilings & tiled floors, Satellite TV, WIFI, wood-burning stove and doors to terrace, wooden fitted kitchen with beamed ceilings & tiled floors, gas hob & electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, breakfast table & chairs and door to terrace.

Lower ground floor – Living area with sofas & a games area with board games, table football & table tennis table and doors to terrace, utility room with washing machine & tumble drier.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Lower ground floor – 1 shower room.

Ground floor – 1 double bedroom with ceiling fan and en-suite shower room, 1 double bedroom with ceiling fan, 1 guest cloakroom.

First floor – accessed by open, wrought iron staircase with rustic brick steps - 1 double bedroom with ceiling fan and en-suite bathroom (with hydromassage bath & separate shower), 1 twin bedroom with ceiling fan and en-suite bathroom.

Outside Space

The L-shaped swimming pool (salt-water), with Roman step entry into the shallow end, is set in a large terrace surround, a lovely spot for sunbathing and for enjoying the views over the surrounding countryside, dotted with almond and carob trees.

There is a covered chill-out area and more shady seating area, with dining table and chairs, under the pine trees. The trees also provide welcome shade at the pool.

Note – Care should be taken with children and the balustrade-horizontal railings enclosing the swimming pool & terraces.

Alaro, with shops, cafes, bars & restaurants - 3kms (and a weekly market on Friday & Saturday). Platja de Palma - 34 kms, Port de Soller - 37 kms, Platja de Muro - 44 kms.

Air conditioning in the living area and the double bedroom with en-suite shower room on the ground floor – available 24hrs a day. Please note that the remaining bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Central heating, available on request for early or late season lets, at a supplementary charge.

There is a local tourist tax called ECO TAX for all visitors to the Balearic Islands, the cost is 2 Euro and 20 Cents per person per night for persons 16 years and over for the first 8 nights, after which the rate reduces to 1 euro 10 cents per night. This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts on the final accommodation invoice and passed by our local agents to the Balearics Government.
