Overview

Villa Floriana is a very comfortable and well cared for country villa in a private, but not secluded, location. Suitable for all who want to enjoy Chianti at its best, thanks to the outstanding restaurants, colourful food markets and the prestigious wineries in the surroundings, the lovers of Italian flavours and Tuscan wines will be more than happy! A great base for daytrips to Siena, Florence or the tiny local Tuscan villages. This four bedroom villa sleeps a maximum of 8 persons and has wi-fi internet available for your use and fans in all of the bedrooms.

Living Areas

The ground floor living areas of Villa Floriana consist of a bright living room with satellite TV, CD player, fire place and two exits to the terraces, and a spacious kitchen with fire place and dining area with exit to the terrace. Kitchen appliances include an oven, a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and iron and ironing board.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Villa Floriana has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. On the ground floor you will find a twin bedded room, bathroom with shower and a double bedroom. On the 1st floor are 2 double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms (one with a shower, and one with a tub and handheld shower). New mosquito screens at all bedroom windows.

Please note air-conditioning is now available in the two first floor double bedrooms. The usage will be calculated by a meter and will then be charged by the owner at the end of stay. The settlement and payment of this will be required to be paid in cash, in Euros, to the owner accordingly.

Outside Space

The garden is spacious and well cared for, with a terrace with barbecue area and private swimming pool which measures approximately 6 x 12 metres, with the depth ranging from 0.95cms to 2.60 metres and has Solar heating. The pool is fenced permanently for extra protection with access through a small gate. There will be new pool pictures to follow in May/June time.

There is also a table tennis table for guests use.. The views from the villa are stunning, over onto the vineyards, olive groves and the small village of Radda. Parking space within the villa grounds.

Location

The closest village is Radda in Chianti (5 km), Province of Siena. Castellina in Chianti is 7 kms, Siena 20 mins, Airport 1.5 hours.

Other Items

Rates include electricity, cooking gas, water, use of the swimming pool, final cleaning, wi-fi internet, weekly change of towels and linen, weekly cleaning service.

Additional services which are bookable and payable locally: Heating (if required), telephone, additional cleaning service 15 Euro per hour, dinners on request, fire wood. The housekeeper of the villa will be happy to provide a foodpack for you upon arrival, the price will be the hourly cost of the maid to do the shopping, plus the receipt for the groceries. Please advise us of the list of groceries you would like to have when you arrive.

Pool towels can be provided for 4€ each.

In addition to the stunning scenery and the tranquil, relaxing environment that the Tuscany region affords, there is also plenty to do with your family and friends! Practice your Italian cooking in the villa's well equipped kitchen, wine tastings in the fabulous Chianti vineyards, walking in the beautiful hills and countryside, swimming in your private pool, bicycle rides, tennis, golf, sightseeing visits to the beautiful local villages, and not forgetting trips to the magnificent cities of Florence and Siena, both of which are steeped in history and tradition.

One of the great holiday experiences when staying at a villa in Tuscany is to have a private dinner cooked for you by a professional Italian cook. It has to be said that Italian home cooking really is second to none, with the use of tasty seasonal and local ingredients and complimented by a glass of the fine local Chianti wines. You can book this additional service so that you can enjoy the fine evenings relaxing at your villa with your family and friends, enjoying the excellent food and the stunning scenery long into the Summer evenings.

There is a breakage deposit of €500 paid pre-departure.

Please note- There is a local tourist tax for villas and apartments, the cost is 2.00 Euro per person per night for a maximum of 7 nights and it is payable locally, the charge is applicable to all guests aged 14 years and over.
