A picturesque, undulating and testing 18-hole course, each hole at Quinta do Lago South has generous landing areas off the tees and well-defined routing amongst the woodland pines setting. This layout encourages the average player to hit their drivers, but calls for accurate driving and precision on the fairway to reach the greens in regulation.
Among its collection of interesting holes you will find a good variety of doglegs and strategically placed hazards to punish anyone who strays too far from the optimum line.
Holes 3, 15 and 17 feature lakes with the most memorable of these is probably the 183 yard par3 15th. The green has a semi-circular backdrop of umbrella pines, accessed via a charming wooden bridge. The course offers a wonderful experience for players of all standards.
