Living Areas

A dramatic double-height entrance where natural light floods in through large floor-to-ceiling glass windows, immediately drawing your eye towards the uninterrupted views over the lake. The polished, marble flooring flows effortlessly through the main living areas and out to expansive terraces, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living.

The formal lounge features a suspended statement fireplace and rich wooden floors, furnished with comfortable sofa seating and floor-to-ceiling glass windows which open directly onto a stylish poolside lounging area. The living area flows naturally into a welcoming dining room with a table and chairs. The TV snug is complete with leather sofa seating, contemporary gas fireplace, a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV showing a wide range of English speaking channels, including the popular channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, and TNT Sports (Please bring your own login credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.), and a warm slatted wood feature wall.

At the heart of the home is a stunning & sleek Gaggenau kitchen, which is fully equipped with all the appliances you'll need during your stay, including an induction hob with four rings, two integrated electric ovens, a microwave, Smeg kettle, a four slice toaster, Cafeteira, an air fryer, Nespresso coffee machine, juicer, blender, a large wine fridge, a concealed tea and coffee station, a large fridge and a separate large freezer and a beautifully integrated breakfast bar and four accompanying stools. Designed for effortless entertaining, the kitchen connects directly to a full outdoor cooking area. There is also a cloakroom on this level.

The lower level of the home is a private retreat dedicated to leisure, entertainment, and wellness. Featuring a state-of-the-art soundproofed cinema room with tiered sofa seating provides the perfect setting for movie nights, while a large games room with leather sofa seating, a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV showing the same list of channels as the previously mentioned TV, a pool table, and a grand piano offers a dynamic social space.

The fully equipped bar, complete with two wine fridges and a Gaggenau coffee machine, is ideal for entertaining.

For those seeking wellness and relaxation, the boutique-style spa includes a sauna, steam room, treatment room, an indoor pool measuring approx 9m x 3m, with steps for entry (the pool can be heated for a weekly supplement), and a gym, strategically positioned to capture views over the tranquil lake, featuring a running machine, rowing machine, a punch bag, free weights, and a spin bike. There are also two guest cloakrooms and a guest shower on this level.The utility room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and ironing board.

From the upper level stairs lead up to the roof terrace, where you will find the rooftop pool, which measures approx. 5m x 2.5m and has steps to enter, a lovely spot to cool down, and take in the amazing views. On this level, there is a further pool table, and chill out area, complete with comfy sofa seating, a bar including a fridge, a dishwasher, and a sink. There is a further sunken seating area with bench seating and a large parasol.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The villa offers seven beautifully appointed bedroom suites, thoughtfully distributed across all levels of the property. On the entrance level, you will find bedrooms one, two & three, which each feature a south-facing terrace. Bedroom one is a double room with a walk-in wardrobe, a wall mounted flat screen, and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Bedroom two is a double room with a walk-in wardrobe and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Bedroom three is a double room with fitted wardrobes, a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV, and an en suite shower room.

Stairs lead to the large master double suite and bedroom four, both with astounding views over the lake. The master double suite includes double walk-in wardrobes, a safe, and patio doors that lead to a private balcony furnished with two sunbeds. The ensuite full bathroom with a freestanding bath tub, a dual walk-in shower, double vanities, and a heated towel rail. Patio doors offer access to a private wraparound terrace with lake and pool views, and glimpses of the golf course. Bedroom five is a double room with a walk-in wardrobe and an en suite shower room. Patio doors open onto a private balcony overlooking the lake, furnished with two comfy chairs.

On the lower level are bedrooms six & seven. Bedroom six is a double room with a walk-in wardrobe, a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV, and an en suite shower room. Outside Space

The stunning garden is laid out to lawn and offers extensive outdoor living areas. The pool measures approx. 13m x 7m and has steps for easy entry. (This pool can be heated for a weekly supplement). Attached to the main pool is a 6m x 6m children's pool. The poolside has plenty of sun loungers and day beds to relax on with a good book. There is also an outside shower to rinse off before or after a cooling dip.

The interior kitchen connects effortlessly to the outside cooking area & the covered dining area, which is complete with a large table and seating for fourteen people, a large Broil King gas BBQ, an electric hot plate & grill, and a countertop & sink.

A further covered terrace is home to the table tennis table, which is set beside the 8-seater Jacuzzi, an ideal space for relaxed, sun-soaked entertaining. There is also a 5-hole putting green, great for some friendly family fun.

A true highlight of the property is its spectacular rooftop terrace, delivering panoramic views over the lake, golf course, and out to the Atlantic Ocean. Here, you’ll find a private plunge pool, a pool table, a sunken lounge area, a fully equipped bar with fridge, sink, and dishwasher, and an elevated chillout zone, the perfect setting for sunset cocktails or stargazing under the Algarve sky.

Villa Moonsplash is situated on the extremely sought-after Avenida. Ayrton Senna, and just a short walk away from various hotspots such as The Campus, The Shack, the beach, and Ria Formosa nature trails, and only a few minutes' drive to a wide choice of beautiful beaches are many other facilities, such as horse riding, wind surfing, and sailing. Many of the finest restaurants in the Algarve are on your doorstep, including Casa Do Lago, Unami & Bovino, as is the fashionable Quinta shopping centre and Bougainvillea Plaza, where you will find boutique shops, restaurants, bars, banks, and a supermarket.
