Overview

Villa Edmund is a stylish four bedroom villa set over two levels, sleeping up to 9 persons and complete with a private pool and garden. Recently refurbished to a high standard, the interiors are tastefully finished in calming neutral tones, creating a relaxed and contemporary feel throughout. For a bit of friendly holiday competition, there’s also a table tennis table—perfect for family fun.

Ideally situated within the Quadradinhos resort, the villa is just moments from the main entrance to Vale do Lobo, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. Fibre optic Wi-Fi and air conditioning are included in the rental rates.

Living Areas

The air conditioned kitchen, lounge and dining area are of an open plan design with patio doors that open out to the poolside terrace. The lounge is comfortably furnished with 3 x two seater sofas, a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV showing a wide selection of English language channels including the popular channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and TNT Sports (please bring your own log-in credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime etc). The dining area is complete with a wooden table and chairs.

The air conditioned kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you'll need during your stay including a full length Bosch fridge with a separate freezer, an integrated electric oven, grill & microwave, toaster, juicer, Nespresso coffee machine, four electric hobs, a central extractor, a wine cooler, and a dishwasher. There is also a convenient breakfast bar with two stools. The guest cloakroom is found by the front door.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the upper level you will find bedroom one, the master double suite with a 1.80m x 2m bed, a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV showing the same selection of channels as the previous TV's, a dressing area with a personal safe, and an en suite bathroom with a free standing bath tub, a walk-in shower, double vanities and a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto a private balcony furnished with two sun loungers. Please note that the master bedroom balcony has a low wall and is not suitable for young children.

On the entrance level you will find bedrooms two, three & four, all are fitted with blackout blinds and all feature a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV's showing the same channel selection as the main TV.

Bedroom two is a double bedroom with a 2m x 2m bed, fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and patio doors that open to the poolside. Both bedroom two and four share the full family bathroom with a free standing bath tub, a walk-in shower, double vanities and a heated towel rail.

Bedroom three is a double bedroom with a 1.60m x 2m bed, fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning, and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto the front garden and furnished with two chairs.

Bedroom four is a family room that sleeps up to 3 persons with a 1.40m x 2m bed plus additional bunk beds, fitted wardrobes, and split unit air conditioning. Both bedrooms two and four share a full bathroom with a free standing bath tub, a walk-in shower, double vanities and a heated towel rail.

Outside Space

The south facing swimming pool is a standout feature, perfectly positioned to soak up the sunshine all day long and surrounded by a spacious poolside terrace. Measuring approximately 8m x 4m, the pool includes convenient steps for easy entry and a uniform depth of 1.4m, making it suitable for all. For those cooler evenings or early season stays, the pool can also be heated upon prior request for a weekly supplement. An outdoor shower is available for a refreshing rinse before or after your swim.

The covered terrace is designed for effortless outdoor living, featuring a dining table with seating for eight, as well as a comfortable lounge area furnished with stylish rattan sofas and chairs. Budding chefs will also appreciate the gas BBQ—perfect for al fresco dining.

To keep everyone entertained there is the table tennis table. Parking is available both on the street and within the property for added convenience.

Location

Villa Edmund is situated within walking distance to a delightful Portuguese tapas restaurant, and also the main roundabout entrance for Vale do Lobo, where there is a supermarket, bank points and a medical centre.

Vale do Lobo golf course club house which is the venue of the excellent Spikes bar and restaurant; shops and spa, is just a short walk away. There are two excellent golf courses in the resort, the Ocean and Royal courses; and for nightlife and dining out the lively Praca has a selection of bars and restaurants.

Vale do Lobo and nearby Dunas Douradas also have two of the most beautiful beaches that you will find in the Algarve. Vale do Lobo beach and the Praca are an approximate 20/25 minute stroll away. Nearby, the resort of Quinta do Lago where you will find a further 5 championship golf courses, as well as a wide range of restaurants and the fashionable Quinta shopping centre.

Rates include a maid cleaning service Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with a mid-week bathroom towel change and a weekly towel & bed linen change. Pool towels, hairdryers, and a safe are provided for your convenience.
