What does this mean to you?

For a customer, being ABTA bonded means you have extra financial protection when you book a holiday.

ABTA is a trade association for UK travel agents, tour operators and the wider travel industry.  When a travel company is ABTA bonded, it has paid into a protection scheme that safeguards customers’ money.

For a customer, this protection means:

-If the travel company goes out of business before the trip, the customer can get a refund for money already paid.

-If the company goes out of business while the customer is on holiday, ABTA will help them finish their trip or get home, at no extra cost.

For customers, ABTA bonding provides peace of mind, reduces financial risk, and gives access to ABTA’s complaints and dispute resolution service if problems arise.
