Sun-hat is delighted to present Orchid Villa – a beautifully renovated three bedroom property ideally located in the popular Dunas Douradas resort. Just a short stroll from the renowned beachside restaurants Maria’s, Izzy’s and Julia’s, and close to the prestigious Vale do Lobo golf resort, this villa offers the perfect base for your Algarve escape. Accommodating up to six guests, Orchid Villa features a private pool (with optional heating available for a weekly supplement), generous sunbathing terraces, and access to excellent communal facilities within Dunas Douradas. With so much to enjoy both at the villa and in the surrounding area, your holiday is set to be truly unforgettable.

Air conditioning throughout and fibre optic Wi-Fi internet are included in the weekly rental rate.

Living Areas

Step into Orchid Villa and feel the holiday mood take over the moment you enter the bright, modern lounge area. Stylishly furnished with a comfortable sofa seating, a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV offering a wide selection of English speaking channels including the popular channels BBC, ITV, TNT Sports and Sky Sports, split unit air conditioning and and dining table with seating for six people – this space is perfect for relaxing. (Don't forget to bring your own log-in credentials to access your favourite streaming services like Netflix or Amazon Prime on the Smart TV.) Double patio doors open straight onto the poolside terrace, effortlessly blending indoor comfort with outdoor living.

The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a stress-free stay, including a fridge freezer, hand blender, four electric hobs, extractor fan, Dulce Gusto coffee machine, electric oven and grill, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and a washing machine.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the entrance level you will find bedroom one with a zip and link bed which is prepared as two single beds or can be made as a super king double bed upon prior request; a wardrobe with a safe; split unit air conditioning and use of the adjacent bathroom with shower unit and a heated towel rail. Patio doors open directly onto the poolside terrace.

Stairs lead you up to bedrooms two & three. Bedroom two is a double room with fitted wardrobes; split unit air conditioning and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto the shared first floor balcony overlooking the pool and furnished with a table and four chairs.

Bedroom three which also has a zip & link bed which is prepared as a super king double bed but can be made up as two single beds upon prior request; a free standing wardrobe; split unit air conditioning and an en suite full bathroom with a free standing bath tub, walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto the shared balcony with bedroom two.

Outside Space

Extending from the lounge is the poolside patio, providing space to relax in the sun; relax on the comfy seating or dine on ‘al fresco’ meals freshly cooked on the gas barbecue provided. The swimming pool has a water fall feature and measures approximately 6m x 4m and includes Roman style steps for easy entry. The pool can be heated for a weekly supplement. The poolside terrace is furnished with six good quality sun loungers; a parasol; a comfy seating area and a shaded dining table with seating for eight people. This space is a lovely place to chill and read a book; or spend time relaxing with your family and friends.

Location

Dunas Douradas is a popular development, where local facilities include tennis courts, a communal pool, poolside bar and the restaurant Lobos, which is literally across the way from Jade Villa. The property is situated close to all the resort amenities and is a short walk to the stunning beach, Praia do Vale do Garrão Nascente or more commonly know as 'Julia's beach', where you will find a selection of renowned beach bars, restaurants and eateries. You are also within close walking distance of Maria's beach restaurant and the Vale do Lobo tennis academy.

Other Items

Rates include a mid-week maid service with a light clean and bathroom towel change and a weekly full changeover cleaning maid service with a bathroom towel and bed linen change. Pool towels, hairdryers, and a safe are provided for your convenience.

The common areas are for the exclusive use of Dunas Douradas owners and guests using a magnetic key. Temporary magnetic keys can be requested at Reception of Dunas Douradas at a refundable cost of €20 (this amount is refunded when the key is handed back to reception on check-out). The tennis court & the aesthetics centre can also be booked at reception (additional cost and subject to availability).

The common area facilities of Dunas Douradas include the main reception, Roman-style swimming pool for adults and children and a pool bar.
