Recently refurnished, this spacious villa has air conditioning throughout; a games room which includes a table football table and pool table; a lovely private heated pool and the property also borders the beautiful Dunas Douradas communal gardens.

Living Areas

The ground floor flows beautifully, welcoming you with a large central hallway that leads into a spacious living room and an inviting dining area. The fully fitted and equipped kitchen sits directly off the dining space, making holiday meal prep and entertaining completely effortless. A separate TV room provides a cozy retreat for movie nights or quiet relaxation. This level also features a convenient cloakroom and the first of five comfortable double en-suite bedrooms

The lounge/dining area is complete with split unit air conditioning, ample comfortable seating, a flat screen TV showing a wide range of cable channels, including English language channels BBC, ITV, TNT Sports and Sky sports. There is a piano for any musicians in the party, and double patio doors lead directly to the upper poolside terrace. The dining area has a dining table and seating for eight people.

The lower ground floor is an entertainer's paradise, providing an expansive space dedicated to fun and relaxation. Two additional double en-suite bedrooms are located here, offering excellent privacy for larger groups or extended family. A secondary TV lounge, a kitchenette with seating, and a games room provide endless options for indoor entertainment and social activities.

The kitchen is modern in design and fully equipped, with appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and four electric hobs, juicer, toaster and an American style fridge freezer. There is a small terrace leading off from the kitchen. Also there is an externally accessed utility cupboard which houses the tumble dryer.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom one on the ground floor is a double room (bed 1.80m x 2.00m) with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes and an en suite bathroom. Adjacent to bedroom one is a snug/TV room.

Upstairs, the dedicated sleeping quarters offer perfect privacy and beautiful natural light. Two double en-suite bedrooms, 2 & 3, occupy this floor, both sharing access to a large elevated terrace. It is the perfect vantage point for morning coffees or evening drinks, offering direct views over the swimming pool and the lush communal gardens beyond. Bedroom two is a double room (1.80m x 2.00m) with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning, en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and patio doors opening onto the upper terrace. Bedroom three is the master double suite (1.80m x 2.00m) with a walk-in dressing room and fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning, a safe and a flat screen TV showing the cable channels including BBC, ITV and Sky Sports. The en suite bathroom to the master suite has a walk-in shower and double vanities. Patio doors open onto the fully furnished upper terrace.

Outside Space

The outdoor oasis centres around a sparkling swimming pool, fully tailored for sunny resort living. A primary terrace featuring a built-in BBQ connects the indoor living spaces directly to the pool deck, making al fresco dining a breeze. The pool is flanked by both shaded and open sitting areas, complete with an outdoor refrigerator to keep your drinks perfectly chilled. With ample sunbathing zones bordering the water and the beach and Maria’s Restaurant just a short five-minute walk away, this villa is the perfect backdrop for your next vacation escape

The private pool measures approximately 8 metres x 4 metres (shallow end is 0.90 in depth and the deep end is 1.90 in depth) and the pool can be heated for an extra weekly supplement. On the terrace overlooking the pool you have a dining table seating 10 people, a gas BBQ with food preparation area and a parasol. On the poolside terrace for sun worshipers you have sun loungers and bean bag armchairs. The pool terrace also overlooks the well manicured Dunas Douradas communal gardens.

Location

The location of Villa Joia is exceptional. Maria’s and Dunas Douradas Beach Club Restaurants are around 5 mins walk, with five further bars/ restaurants at Julia’s beach an easy 15 minutes stroll along paths or the beach itself. Fitness, Yoga and Pilates classes are available several times a week, a few minutes' walk away at the Dunas Douradas Beach Club (local charges apply).

Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago’s golf courses and tennis clubs are a short distance away, whilst within 15 to 20 minutes’ drive are shopping malls, water parks and other visitor attractions. Car hire is recommended to explore more widely but equally, for those who prefer to get around on foot, there is plenty within easy walking distance.

Rates include a regular maid cleaning service, bathroom towels (changed midweek and weekly) and bedroom linen (change weekly). A safe, hairdryers x 5 and pool towels are provided for your convenience. Air conditioning and fibre Wi-Fi internet are included the accommodation price. Please note that this property sleeps a maximum of 10 persons.
