Quinta da Coroa is a charming four bedroom villa with a private swimming pool, ideally located within walking distance of the town of Santa Bárbara de Nexe and just a 15–20 minute drive from the prestigious golf resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo.

Set on a spacious 2-hectare plot, the villa enjoys far reaching panoramic views across the Algarve coastline and the Atlantic Ocean, offering a peaceful and private setting.

For outdoor entertainment, the property features a floodlit pétanque pitch and a table tennis table, perfect for relaxed games with family and friends.

Wi-Fi and air conditioning are included in the rental, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout the year.

Living Areas

The villa offers spacious and well equipped living areas designed for comfort and practicality. The large, air conditioned lounge includes ample sofa seating, a log burning fireplace for cooler months, and a flat screen Smart TV with a wide selection of English language channels, including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, and TNT Sports. Guests can also access streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime using their own login details. Patio doors open onto on the upper balcony. The dining room is bright and spacious, with a large table and seating for eight persons.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you'll need during your staying including an integrated Bosch oven and microwave, Smeg fridge freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, juicer, steam cooker, four electric hobs, extractor fan, and a purified water tap. Patio doors open onto a breakfast balcony complete with a round table, four chairs, and bench seating, offering far-reaching views, ideal for morning coffee.

Next to the kitchen is a utility room with an additional fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and ironing board.

The air conditioned reading room provides a quieter space to relax, with comfortable sofa seating and a selection of books, including some in English. You will also find a safe for personal belongings located in this room. A guest cloakroom can be found near the entrance of the villa.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The bedroom layout spreads over two levels and is practical and well designed. On the entrance level is the master bedroom, featuring a 2m x 2m double bed, a large dressing area, split air conditioning, and a ceiling fan. The en suite full bathroom includes a walk-in shower, double vanity units, a heated towel rail and a heater. Patio doors lead to a private balcony with countryside views and furnished two sunbeds.

Bedrooms two, three, and four are located on the lower level, all with direct access to the pool terrace. Bedroom two is a double room with a 2.10m x 2m bed, fitted wardrobes, air conditioning, and an en suite bathroom with double vanity units and a heater. Bedroom three is a double room with a 2m x 2m bed, fitted wardrobes, air conditioning, and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, and heater. Bedroom four is a twin room with two 0.90m x 2m beds, fitted wardrobes, air conditioning, and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, and heater.

Outside Space

Set within an expansive two hectare plot, the villa enjoys beautiful views stretching towards the coast. The Mediterranean style garden invites you to explore, with winding pathways and tucked away seating areas offering peaceful spots to pause and take it all in. The air is filled with the scent of fresh rosemary, wild thyme and blossom from the many fruit trees, including orange, lemon and fig.

For outdoor enjoyment, the property features a floodlit pétanque pitch and a table tennis table, perfect for relaxed games with family and friends. The spacious poolside terrace is furnished with plenty of sun loungers for laid back days in the sun, along with two parasols when you prefer a little shade. The freeform swimming pool measures approximately 12m x 6m and offers both steps and a ladder for easy entry.

Those who enjoy cooking will appreciate the Teppanyaki plate, while outdoor dining can be enjoyed at the large covered table with seating for fourteen. Adjacent to this is a bar area with three stools and a fridge to keep drinks perfectly chilled. The villa also offers ample parking and is secured by an electric entry system.

Location

Quinta da Coroa is situated just 20 minutes walking distance from the town of Santa Barbara de Nexe, where you will find a selection of restaurants, shops, bars, cafes, a supermarket and a chemist. A short driving distance away is the Mar shopping complex which has a wide range of shops, restaurants, a designer outlet and a cinemas- where the majority of films are shown in English. The airport at Faro and the prestigious golf resorts of Quinta do Lago & Vale do Lobo are only a 15-20 minutes drive away.

Quinta do Lago is the most exclusive area of the Algarve and is perfect for golfing and family holidays. Some of the finest restaurants in the Algarve are in the area, as is the fashionable Quinta shopping centre. Many other facilities can be found in the area, such as horse riding, wind surfing, and sailing.

Rates include a weekly maid cleaning service. Bathroom towels and bed linen are changed weekly. Pool towels, hairdryers and a safe are provided for your convenience. The gardener visits once per week.
