Sun-hat is delighted to present Villa Humberto, an elegant and contemporary four bedroom residence set in the peaceful Santa Bárbara countryside. South facing and complete with a private pool, the villa enjoys magnificent panoramic views stretching across the Algarve coastline. Designed with sophistication and comfort in mind, Villa Humberto combines modern architecture with stylish interiors, creating an atmosphere of understated luxury. Every detail has been carefully considered.

For your comfort and convenience, the property features full air conditioning, built-in Sonos in the living area and master bedroom, and high speed fibre optic Wi-Fi, all included in the rental rate.

Living Areas

The living area is of an open plan design and decorated in neutral colours, providing a calming ambiance. The air conditioned lounge area is furnished with comfortable sofa seating, a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV showing a wide variety of English speaking channels, including the popular channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, and TNT Sports (please bring your own login credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc). There is also a portable Sonos speaker to allow you to stream your favourite tunes from your smartphone.

Triple patio doors lead to the upper dining terrace, offering unspoiled views of the Algarve countryside. The dining area is complete with a table and seating for eight people. The kitchen with split unit air conditioning, a central island, and a breakfast counter with two stools is well equipped with all the appliances you'll need during your stay, including an induction hob with four rings, a central extractor, an integrated electric oven, grill & microwave, a toaster, kettle, a blender, and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a guest cloakroom.

On the lower level of the villa, you will find the utility room, which houses the washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board. There is also a further fridge for keeping your drinks cool. The family TV room is complete with a large sofa bed (this can be prepared upon prior request and is suitable for one or two children up to the age of 14 years), split unit air conditioning, and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the entrance level, you will find bedrooms one, two & three. Bedroom one is a double room which can be prepared as a twin room upon prior request, with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning, and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Patio doors lead to the garden. Bedroom two is a twin room which can be prepared as a double upon prior request, with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning, and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Patio doors lead to the garden with amazing views. Bedroom three is the master double suite with a wall mounted flat screen TV showing the same selection of channels as the lounge TV, fitted wardrobes, a safe, split unit air conditioning & a spacious en suite bathroom with a free standing bathtub, a walk-in shower, and a heated towel rail.

On the lower level, you will find bedroom four, which is a twin room that can be prepared as a double upon prior request, with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning, and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Patio doors lead to a terrace furnished with a table and chairs; from here, steps lead up to the poolside.

Outside Space

From the kitchen, large patio doors open onto a shaded terrace furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchair seating. Electric blinds protect from both the sun and the breeze, ensuring a relaxing outdoor experience at any time of day. On this terrace, you’ll also find a gas BBQ and a large wooden dining table with seating for ten — perfect for enjoying al-fresco meals while admiring the beautiful, unspoiled countryside views.

Steps lead down from the upper terrace to the south-facing pool area, which is completely private and offers wonderful sea views. The pool measures approximately 12m x 4m and features gentle steps for easy entry. The spacious poolside terrace provides ample room for sunbathing, and an outdoor shower is conveniently located nearby for rinsing off before or after a swim. The property is accessed via automatic gates and offers ample private parking for guests’ convenience.

Location

Villa Humberto is situated just 5 minutes drive from the village of Santa Barbara, where you will find a selection of restaurants, shops, bars, cafes, a supermarket, and a chemist. Also, a short driving distance away is the brand new Mar shopping complex, which has a wide range of shops, restaurants, a designer outlet, and a cinema, where the majority of films are shown in English. The airport at Faro and the prestigious golf resort of Quinta do Lago are only a 15-20 minute drive away. Quinta do Lago is the most exclusive area of the Algarve and is perfect for golfing and family holidays. Many of the finest restaurants in the Algarve are in the area, as is the fashionable Quinta shopping centre.
