Overview

Brand new to the Sun-hat luxury villa portfolio is Casa Gondrigo, a lovely traditional four bedroom villa, built on two levels with a private pool (the pool has a permanent children's fence and can be heated for a weekly supplement). This charming property is set on a peaceful plot, centrally located between the prestigious golf resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo- both of which are within close driving distance.

Air conditioning throughout and Wi-Fi internet are included in the rental rates.

Living Areas

The air conditioned living and dining area is open plan and comfortably furnished, and includes a large sofa, a log burning fireplace, a flat screen Smart TV showing a wide selection of English language channels, including the popular channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports & TNT Sports (please bring your own login credentials to enjoy Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc). Patio doors open onto a front facing terrace and garden. The dining area is complete with a table and eight chairs. From here, stairs lead up to the master bedroom suite.

The modern kitchen features a breakfast table and six chairs, and is well equipped with all the appliances you'll need during your stay, including a large fridge, a microwave, a coffee percolator, Nespresso coffee machine, juicer, food mixer, dishwasher, toaster, four electric hobs, an electric oven and an extractor. The adjacent laundry room houses the washing machine, an extra fridge freezer, the iron, and the ironing board. There is also access to an outdoor terrace, the swimming pool, and garden. There is also a guest bathroom with a shower near the entrance hall.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the entrance level, you will find bedrooms one, two, and three. Bedroom one is a twin room (which can be prepared as a double upon prior request), with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, and use of the adjacent guest bathroom. Patio doors lead to the garden. Bedroom two is a twin room (which can be prepared as a double upon prior request), with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, and an en suite shower room. Patio doors lead to the garden and pool. Bedroom three is a double room with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, and an en suite shower room. Patio doors lead to the garden.

Stairs lead up to bedroom four, which is the master double suite with split unit air conditioning. Patio doors open onto a front facing balcony and the large roof terrace furnished with two sunbeds. There is a spacious dressing area complete with a single bed, and a further pull-out single bed which combined can accommodate two extra children up to the age of 12 (this dressing room also has split unit air conditioning and access to the roof terrace). The large bathroom includes a walk-in shower, double vanities & a spa bath tub, from here patio doors open onto a private front facing balcony.

Outside Space

The pool measures approximately 8m x 4m with ladder entry. Pool heating is available for a weekly supplement. For added peace of mind for families with young children, the pool is fully fenced for safety. The poolside terrace is furnished with eight sun loungers and a parasol for when you’d like a bit of shade. A charcoal BBQ is provided for those who enjoy cooking outdoors, and al fresco meals can be enjoyed at the outdoor dining table. The garden is completely fenced for privacy.

Location

Casa Gondrigo is centrally located between the prestigious golf resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo- both of which are within close driving distance. The beaches of Garrão or Ancão and the popular restaurants Izzy's, António Tá Certo, 2 Passos, Bold Octopus, etc, are only a 5-minute drive. A horse riding centre and a Tennis academy are also in the nearby area.

Other Items

Rates include a mid-week clean, a bathroom towel change, and a weekly clean, along with bed linen & bathroom towel changes. Pool towels, hairdryers, and a safe are provided for your convenience. Mosquito nets are on all the windows.
