Villa Hyacinth

Overview

A beautifully renovated luxury 5 bedroom villa in Encosta do Lago, within Quinta do Lago, sleeping up to 10 guests. This stylish, contemporary property features a large private pool and is ideally located within walking distance of the popular Quinta do Lago lake, The Shack bar, Casa do Lago restaurant and the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. Recently refurbished throughout, the villa is arranged over three levels and offers air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout, with underfloor heating available during the winter months (supplement required). Just 750m from the lakeside, guests can enjoy a range of water sports and dining options right on their doorstep.

Nature lovers, cyclists and walkers will particularly appreciate the proximity to the Ria Formosa trails, while those seeking relaxation or recreation benefit from access to the nearby Encosta do Lago resort facilities. These include a communal pool, tennis courts, gym, sauna, spa and on site restaurant.

Living Areas

A spacious living room, flooding with natural light from the four sets of patio doors that open out to the covered terrace, pool and garden. The living area is furnished with two comfortable seating areas, has a wood burning fireplace and TV with many International and UK channels including Sky Sports.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen is located next to the dining room and includes a large American style fridge freezer (with water and ice dispenser), dishwasher, oven, gas hob, microwave, espresso and filter coffee machines, juicer, and toasted sandwich maker, along with all the utensils and equipment required for a self-catering villa holiday.

Onto the dining room which has a large table and seating for ten persons. The lounge has two separate comfy seating areas, a flat screen TV showing many cable channels including English language channels such as BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and BT Sports.

Please note, there is a utility room located in the basement with a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests use. The basement also houses a guest WC and an extra fridge and freezer for your use.

There is an additional guest WC on this floor.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom one is a twin room with fitted wardrobes, safe, a/c and an en suite bathroom. Patio doors open onto the side of the villa. Bedroom two is a twin room with fitted wardrobes, a/c and an en suite bathroom with a separate shower. Patio doors open onto the poolside terrace. Bedroom three is a double room with fitted wardrobes, safe, a/c and an en suite bathroom with double vanities and a spa bath tub. Patio doors open to the poolside terrace.

Bedroom four is a double room with fitted wardrobes, a/c and an en suite bathroom with a spa bath tub, double vanities and a separate shower. Patio doors open on a private terrace with 2 sunbeds and a parasol. Bedroom five is a twin room with fitted wardrobes, safe, a/c and an en suite bathroom with double vanities. Patio doors open onto a Juliet balcony overlooking the pool.

Outside Space

The swimming pool with steps entry measures approximately 10m x 5m and can be heated for an extra weekly supplement. The outside area includes ten sun loungers to soak up the Algarve sunshine, a table tennis table for family tournaments, a gas BBQ and parasols for shading.

Location

Quinta do Lago is the most exclusive area of the Algarve and is perfect for golfing and family holidays. Situated amongst championship golf courses and with a few minutes drive to a wide choice of beautiful beaches. Many of the finest restaurants in the Algarve are on your doorstep, as is the fashionable Quinta shopping centre where you will find designer boutiques and eateries. The airport at Faro is only a 25 minute drive away.

Encosta do Lago is located just 5 minutes walk from the Quinta do Lago lake where there is a restaurant and a water sports centre, and the beach is a 20 minute walk away. All within close driving distance are a selection of internationally renowned golf courses- Laranjal, Quinta do Lago North and South, San Lorenzo and Pinheiros Altos.

Other Items

For stays of up to and including 7 nights, one mid-stay light clean and towel change will be provided. For stays of over 7 nights, there will be a light clean and a bed linen change, plus a towel change every 5 additional nights.

Here in resort we need to keep going back to this one to see if we can speak to someone on site to get their completion date for the works. I have compared the drone shot from last year and the works have definitely progressed, although the landscaping is not done the villa appears painted and some packed up exterior furniture is also there, I would say if the windows are in then it won’t be too far off, providing this bloody weather changes

Please note that on a plot directly behind Villa Hyacinth there is a villa under construction and a crane is on site. However, noisy building work is prohibited in the peak summer months of July and August.
