Some of Quinta do Lago’s most sought after attractions are just a short distance from The Cork Tree including, The Campus sports hub, the laid back Shack beach bar, Quinta do Lago Lake, the golden sands of Quinta do Lago Beach, and a superb selection of acclaimed restaurants such as Casa do Lago, Umami and Bovino.
Fibre optic Wi-Fi internet and ducted air conditioning throughout, with individual room controls, are included in the rental rate. Blackout blinds are on all the windows to ensure complete comfort during your stay.
Step into the bright and spacious living area, where floor-to-ceiling glass windows fill the room with natural light. The space is comfortably furnished with plenty of sofa and armchair seating. A hidden TV cabinet reveals a flat screen Smart TV offering a wide range of English language channels including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, and TNT Sports. (Please bring your own log-in details for streaming services such as Amazon Prime or Netflix.) There’s also a stylish dining table and chairs. From the living area, electric remote control doors open onto the covered outside dining and relaxing space.
The modern kitchen is both sleek and practical, complete with a breakfast bar and two stools. It’s fully equipped with everything you need to make dining easy and enjoyable, including an American style fridge freezer, integrated electric oven, five gas hobs, extractor fan, Smeg toaster, air fryer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, cafetière, dishwasher, and blender. Patio doors open out to the inviting BBQ area – perfect for lazy lunches or evening get togethers in the warm air. A convenient guest cloakroom is also located on this level.
Downstairs, the lower level offers even more space and great amenities. The utility room houses a Bosch washing machine, Bosch dryer, iron and ironing board, and also doubles as an additional kitchen, with another electric oven, five gas hobs, extractor fan, wine cooler, and an extra double fridge freezer. A door from here leads to the outdoor clothes drying area.
This level also includes a cosy second living area with air conditioning, comfy sofas and armchairs, a round table and chairs, and another wall-mounted Smart TV. The fully soundproofed cinema room is carpeted and offers generous sofa seating – the ideal spot for a film night with Netflix or Amazon Prime. For fitness, there is the air conditioned gym, which includes a wall-mounted TV, a spin bike, running machine, weight bench, free weights, and yoga mats. After your workout, unwind in the Turkish bath or rinse off in the adjoining shower. A second guest cloakroom is also located on this floor.
All seven bedroom are double rooms 1.80m x 2m. On the entrance level you will find bedrooms one, two and three. Bedroom one is complete with a wall mounted flat screen TV, a dressing area and a large en suite bathroom with twin vanity units, a walk-in double shower, a free standing bath tub, and two heated towel rails. Patio doors from the bedroom lead to the pool.

Patio doors lead to the shared terrace with bedroom four.
On the upper level of the property are bedrooms six and seven. Bedroom six is complete with fitted wardrobes and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower, double vanity units and a heated towel rail. Patio doors from the bedroom lead to a shared balcony with bedroom seven. Bedroom seven is complete with fitted wardrobes and an en suite full bathroom with a walk-in shower, double vanity units, a free standing bath tub and a heated towel rail. The private swimming pool measures approx.13m x 6m and has steps for easy entry. The garden is laid to lawn with stunning lake views. The covered outside dining area is complete with an electric BBQ, food preparation counter and sink, and a large outside table & chairs and comfy sofa seating.
The Cork Tree property is located in the Sao Lourenco North area of Quinta do Lago, one of the most exclusive resorts of the Algarve, and perfect for both golfing and family holidays. Situated amongst championship golf courses and only a few minutes' drive to a wide choice of beautiful beaches are many other facilities, such as horse riding, wind surfing, and sailing. Many of the finest restaurants in the Algarve are situated within a short drive, including Casa Do Lago, Unami & Bovino, as is the fashionable Quinta shopping centre and Bougainvillea Plaza, where you will find boutique shops, restaurants, bars, banks, and a supermarket.
Rates include a maid cleaning service five days a week with a midweek bathroom towel change and a weekly bathroom towel & bed linen change. Pool towels, hairdryers, and a safe are provided for your convenience.
Please note that the Google satellite imagery predates the construction of the villa. There is currently no building work activity in the immediate vicinity of The Cork Tree.
There is a local tourist tax for all visitors to Quinta do Lago.

This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts with the final accommodation balance and passed by our local agents to the local authorities.
