Overview
Villa Solara is a charming three bedroom semi-detached villa with its own private swimming pool, perfectly positioned on a central plot in the tranquil Lakeside Village, within the prestigious five star resort of Quinta do Lago. Thoughtfully furnished to create a welcoming and relaxed feel, this home from home offers generous living spaces and a sunny poolside terrace - ideal for soaking up the Algarve sunshine, enjoying leisurely al-fresco meals, or simply unwinding in peaceful surroundings.
Fibre optic Wi-Fi internet and air conditioning throughout are included in the rental rates and there are mosquito nets protecting all windows.
Living Areas
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all the appliances you will need during your stay, including an American fridge freezer with a water and ice dispenser, a Smeg kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, a dishwasher, four electric hobs, an extractor, a microwave, an electric oven & grill, and an air fryer. The utility room is located just off the kitchen and houses the combined washing machine/dryer, as well as the iron & ironing board. The lounge and dining room are open plan and comfortably furnished, featuring a dining table and chairs, ample sofa seating, a large flat screen Smart TV with a Sonos soundbar showing a wide variety of English language channels including the popular channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, and TNT Sports (please bring your own login credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc). Double patio doors lead to the poolside terrace.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
On the entrance level, you will find Bedroom one, a double room with split unit air conditioning and fitted wardrobes. This bedroom uses the adjacent guest shower room.
Stairs lead up to bedrooms two and three. Bedroom two is a double room with fitted wardrobes, a safe, split unit air conditioning, and an en suite full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto a shared balcony with bedroom three. Bedroom three is a double room with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto the shared balcony with bedroom two.
Outside Space
The villa’s south-west-facing private poolside terrace basks in glorious sunshine, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the Algarve sunshine. Stretch out on one of the comfortable sun loungers, cool off beneath one of the three parasols, or take a refreshing dip in the kidney-shaped saltwater pool, with steps for easy access and measuring approximately 7m x 4m. A few steps up lead you to the inviting BBQ terrace, where a gas barbecue and a large dining table for six await, ideal for leisurely al-fresco meals. A parasol shades this space. For a more laid-back vibe, retreat to the charming seating area, complete with a sofa and chairs and shaded by a further parasol.
Location
Lakeside Village borders a natural saltwater lake where water sports such as windsurfing and sailing are available, and the trendy Shack bar and the Campus are within walking distance. There is also a good selection of international restaurants, championship golf courses, tennis, shops, and bars all close by in the prestigious resort of Quinta do Lago.
In addition to your own private pool at the villa, guests can use the complex facilities, which include a large communal pool, a children's pool, and tennis courts. Use of the tennis courts is free of charge; you have to take your own racquets and tennis balls.
Other Items
Rates include a mid-week & weekly maid cleaning service with a mid-week bathroom towel change, and a weekly bathroom towel and bed linen change. Pool towels, hairdryers, and a safe are provided for your convenience.

Prices quoted are per villa per week. Please note where your holiday dates cross multiple price bands the total holiday price is calculated per day per price band.
The rates quoted for 2026 bookings are based on 2025 rates and are subject to final confirmation around Oct / Nov 2025 (but could be later) when contracts are signed.
There is a local tourist tax for all visitors to Quinta do Lago.

Applies To
Persons 16 years and over for the first 5 nights.
This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts with the final accommodation balance and passed by our local agents to the local authorities.

1 loaf sliced bread, 250g butter, 1 litre semi-skimmed milk, 1 bottle white wine, 1 carton orange juice, 10 tea bags, 10 sachets of coffee, 2 x 1,5 litres water, 1 bottle lemonade, 25 sachets sugar, 250g ham, 250g sliced cheese, 4 pieces seasonal fruit, 4 tomatoes, 6 eggs 1 large pack of crisps, 1 x jar of jam and 1 packet of biscuits. For a vegetarian option we will replace the ham with an additional pack of cheese.
