Villa Callista

Overview

Villa Callista is a stylish four bedroom retreat with its own private pool, tucked away in a peaceful corner of the prestigious Vale do Lobo resort. Spread over two levels, the villa boasts sweeping views across the sea and golf course. Guests are greeted by an impressive double height entrance hall with a sweeping staircase, while the soft, understated furnishings throughout create a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The south-facing pool deck is perfect for making the most of the Algarve sunshine. Ideally located, Villa Callista is just a short distance from all the resort’s excellent facilities, including a well stocked supermarket, the golf club, and the renowned Praça and beach. The property is securely gated at the front, with a traditional calçada driveway, carport, and turning space.

Air conditioning throughout and Fibre optic Wi-Fi are included in the rental rates.

Living Areas

The air conditioned kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances you'll need during your stay, including a microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, kettle, two electric ovens, four electric hobs, an extractor, an American-style fridge freezer, and a further built-in fridge freezer. There is also a convenient serving hatch to the dining area. Patio doors lead to the front of the property. Off the kitchen, you will find the utility room, which houses the washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, and recycling bins. A door leads to an outside clothes drying area.

The large lounge is comfortably furnished with ample sofa seating, a flat screen Smart TV showing a wide selection of English speaking channels, including the popular channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, and TNT Sports (please bring your own login credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc). There is also a guest cloakroom on this level.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the entrance level, you will find bedrooms one & two. Bedroom one is a double room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning, and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Patio doors lead to the pool. Bedroom two is a twin room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning, and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail.

Stairs lead up to bedrooms three and four. Bedroom three is a double room with fitted wardrobes, a safe, split unit air conditioning, wall mounted flat screen TV showing the same channels as the previously mentioned TV, and an en suite full bathroom with double vanities and a walk-in shower. Patio doors lead to a shared balcony with bedroom four, which overlooks the pool. There is a further balcony with golf and sea views. Bedroom four is a twin room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning, a wall mounted flat screen TV, also showing the same channels as the previously mentioned TVs, and an en suite full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. Patio doors lead to the shared balcony with bedroom three, which overlooks the pool.

Outside Space

The private south-facing terrace enjoys fantastic views over the sea and golf course. A shaded dining area, with a table seating up to eight guests, provides the perfect spot for al fresco meals. The kidney-shaped swimming pool measures approximately 7m x 4m and features gentle steps for easy access. Around the pool, the spacious terrace is furnished with eight sunbeds and three parasols, offering a choice of sun or shade. For outdoor cooking, guests can take advantage of a Beefeater gas BBQ complete with a food preparation counter and sink, or opt for the traditional Weber charcoal BBQ. The BBQ area is conveniently situated near the kitchen

Location

Situated within the prestigious golf resort of Vale do Lobo, which also boasts two of the Algarve's finest championship golf courses, the Royal and the Ocean, and the famous Praca, which has a wide range of bars, restaurants, and eateries, and family entertainment during the summer months. Some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches can be found in the local area.

Rates include a maid cleaning service Mon, Weds & Fri with a mid-week bathroom towel change, and a weekly bed linen & bathroom towel change. Pool towels, hairdryers, and a safe are provided for your convenience. The owner is a resort member, so the rubbish is collected from the property.
