Overview

Sun-hat is thrilled to introduce Villa Oregano – a showstopping six bedroom retreat that truly has it all. Facing southwest to capture every last drop of Algarve sunshine, this architectural masterpiece by Vasco Vieira combines sleek design with pure luxury. Step inside and you’ll find a private glass lift connecting every floor, a sparkling pool and a further suspended pool, a home cinema, a bar, a gym, and a sauna. The entertainment area is complete with a pool table, table tennis table, and a football table – the exterior is the ultimate setup for relaxation or entertaining in style, with various terraces overlooking the golf course, a covered outdoor lounge, and a BBQ area. The villa’s clean lines, polished microcement floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows create a modern, airy feel, while the frontline golf course setting delivers breathtaking views that stretch all the way to the sea.

With blackout blinds, centralised air conditioning throughout with individual room controls, a built-in Sonos system, and fibre optic Wi-Fi, all included in the rental rates.

Living Areas

The entrance hall is complete with a glass elevator that spans all four floors, alternatively, there is a staircase. The upper level is of an open plan design with a floor-to-ceiling glass surround bringing the outside, inside. The sleek & elegant designer kitchen with a central island and four stools is fully equipped with all the appliances you will need during your stay including a Krups coffee machine, a Smeg toaster, a Smeg kettle, an integrated Smeg Electric oven, microwave and grill, five gas hobs, an extractor, juicer, a dishwasher, a coffee grinder, a blender, and a convenient boiling water tap.

The lounge is complete with a huge L-shaped sofa, a flat screen Smart TV showing a wide variety of English speaking channels, including the popular channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, and TNT sports (please bring your own login credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc), and for the musically inclined, there is an electric keyboard. The dining area is furnished with a large table and chairs. Expansive floor-to-ceiling patio doors open directly onto the upper BBQ & pool terrace with breathtaking views, creating a wonderful sense of indoor-outdoor living. A guest cloakroom is conveniently situated on this level.

On the lower level of the property, you will find the large, open plan entertainment space, which is complete with a table football table, a table tennis table, and a pool table. The large dining table has seating for ten people, and the bar is complete with a fridge and three accompanying stools. From here, a convenient door gives access to steps leading up to the pool. The TV area is furnished with sofa seating and scattered beanbags, a large wall mounted flat screen Smart TV showing the same channels as previously mentioned, and a card table. The soundproofed, air conditioned cinema room has a large projector screen with Apple TV and Blu-ray, six individual seats and two lounger seats, and a bar with five stools. The stretching gymnasium is complete with a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV and features a treadmill, a cross trainer and a spinning bike. Steps lead down to the rowing machine, free weights, and much more. The adjacent sauna is an added touch and is complete with a changing room with a shower. You will also find the utility room also on this level, which houses a Miele washing machine, a Miele tumble dryer, an extra fridge freezer, and a dishwasher. From the utility room, patio doors open onto a small terrace complete with a gas BBQ.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedrooms one, two, three, and four can be found on the entrance level of the property; all of these bedrooms feature wall-mounted Smart TVs showing the same channels as previously mentioned and benefit from frontline golf course views and the coast beyond.

Bedroom one is the master double suite featuring a walk-in wardrobe complete with a media desk and chair, and an en suite full bathroom with double vanities and a walk-in shower. Patio doors lead to the poolside terrace, offering uninterrupted golf views. Bedroom two is a double room with fitted wardrobes, a safe, and an en suite shower room. Patio doors lead to the same poolside terrace. Bedroom three is a twin room with fitted wardrobes and an en suite shower room. Patio doors again lead to the poolside terrace. Bedroom four is a double room with fitted wardrobes and an en suite full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Patio doors lead to the poolside terrace.

Bedrooms five and six are on the lower level of the property. Bedroom five is a twin room with fitted wardrobes, a safe, and an en suite full bathroom with double vanities and a walk-in shower. Patio doors open onto a small terrace shared with bedroom six and furnished with a table and two chairs. Bedroom six is a double room with fitted wardrobes, a safe, and an en suite shower room. Patio doors open onto the small terrace shared with bedroom five.

Outside Space

Villa Oregano offers no fewer than four inviting seating areas, each designed to make the most of the Algarve sunshine and spectacular views. From the living room, floor-to-ceiling patio doors open onto the upper pool terrace and barbecue area, complete with a gas barbecue, food preparation counter, sink, dishwasher, and fridge – everything you need for easy outdoor dining. The terrace is furnished with sunbeds, two parasols, and comfortable seating, while a smaller shaded area behind the barbecue provides an ideal spot to relax with a drink.

A gentle slope leads up to the covered poolside lounge, enclosed by glass panels with blinds for shade when needed. This stylish space features ample sofa seating, a wall mounted Smart TV (with the same channels as the other TVs throughout the villa), and a large glass dining table with seating for twelve guests. Overlooking the suspended pool, this area offers uninterrupted views across the golf course and towards the coast – perfect for long, leisurely afternoons or sunset dinners.

From here, steps lead down to the mid-level terrace, again furnished with sunbeds and providing easy access to the lower pool. Further steps bring you to the lawned area, finished with faux grass and surrounded by magnificent golf views.

The roof terrace is another standout feature, boasting spectacular golf and coastal views. With its bar, comfortable lounge seating, and quirky bucket chairs, it’s a brilliant space to watch the sunset over the fairways.

The villa features two stunning swimming pools. The upper suspended pool measures approximately 10m x 5m in the main swimming area and has steps for easy entry. Below, the second pool measures around 10m x 8m and also has steps and a handrail, providing another wonderful spot to swim, cool off, or simply unwind.

Location

Situated within the prestigious golf resort of Vale do Lobo, which also boasts two of the Algarve's finest championship golf courses, the Royal and the Ocean; and the famous Praca, which has a wide range of bars, restaurants and eateries and family entertainment during the summer months. Some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches can be found in the local area.
