Victoria is one of the best and most sophisticated golf courses in Portugal. One of the unique characteristics is that the Arnold Palmer team masterly created 18 greens with totally different shapes and sizes.
Featuring a number of man-made water hazards and strategically located bunkers the Victoria Course makes for an interesting and enjoyable golf course that rewards heroics but can severely punish mistakes. Don’t expect your first round here to be your best one, having played the course before is definitely an advantage.
Laid out on terrain which is naturally flat part of the course has been strategically sculptured to imitate a more hilly landscape. The introduction of a series of mounds to Victoria’s 18-hole, par 72 championship layout adds a degree of difficulty. A round at Victoria, measuring 6609m from the back tees, is a unique, unforgettable experience for all who play here.
