Overview

Sun-hat is delighted to welcome you to Villa Mirar, a charming five bedroom Quinta do Lago villa full of traditional character, set over three spacious levels. Outside, you’ll find a private, fully fenced swimming pool – ideal for families with younger children – which can also be heated for an additional weekly supplement. The villa is surrounded by extensive private gardens and also offers a small gym and a fun filled games room.

Ideally centrally located in the prestigious Quinta do Lago golf resort, Villa Mirar enjoys a prime position within easy walking distance of the Campus and is just a short drive from the Quinta Shopping Centre. Beautiful golden beaches, championship golf courses, excellent sports facilities, and some of the Algarve’s finest restaurants are all close by, placing the very best of the region right on your doorstep.

Featuring electric shutters throughout that are conveniently controlled through the main switches near the front door or on the individual room controls. Additionally, the rental rate includes fibre optic Wi-Fi internet access throughout.

Living Areas

From the entrance hall through to the bright & spacious, open plan living room & dining area, this space is comfortably furnished with ample sofa seating, split unit air conditioning, a flat screen Smart TV showing a wide variety of English speaking channels including the popular channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports & TNT Sports (please bring your own login credential to enjoy Netfix, Amazon Prime etc). Four sets of patio doors lead to the upper terrace overlooking the pool. The dining area is complete with a table & chairs.

The large kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need during your stay, including a double sink, a range cooker with five gas hobs, a griddle plate, grill and two ovens, an extractor, a four-slice toaster, a blender, a Bosch dishwasher, a juicer, an American-style fridge freezer, a kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a microwave. Patio doors lead to the upper terrace. There is also a guest cloakroom on this level.

From the kitchen stairs lead down to the utility room, garage, and entertainment area. The utility room houses the washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board. The entertainment area is complete with a seating area, a table tennis table, and a pool table. The small gym includes a treadmill & free weights. There is also a convenient cloakroom on this level.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the entrance level, you will find bedrooms one, two & three. Bedroom one is a double room with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, and an en suite full bathroom with double vanities, a heated towel rail, and a walk-in shower. Bedroom two is a twin room with split unit air conditioning and fitted wardrobes. Bedroom three is a twin room with split unit air conditioning and fitted wardrobes. Both bedrooms two & three share the adjacent full bathroom with double vanities and a walk-in shower.

Stairs lead up to bedroom four and the master double suite. Bedroom four is a twin room with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. The master double suite is spacious and features a dressing area with a sofa, fitted wardrobes, a safe, split unit air conditioning, and an en suite full bathroom with a walk-in shower, double vanities, and a heated towel rail. From the bedroom, patio doors open onto a private balcony furnished with a table and two chairs, plus two sun loungers.

Outside Space

The upper terrace overlooking the pool is furnished with a table with seating for 10 people, and there is a further table with eight chairs. The south-facing garden is laid out to lawn and is completely private. The swimming pool measures approximately 10m x 5m with steps for easy entry and is completely fenced off, making it safe for families with younger children. The pool can be heated for a weekly supplement. There are ample sunloungers provided, plus a double day bed to relax on. The budding chefs in the group will enjoy the gas BBQ. For outdoor entertainment, there is a Petanque pitch, and also a badminton net, badminton bats, and shuttle cocks are provided.

Location

Villa Mirar is located in the Monte Golfe area of Quinta do Lago, one of the most exclusive areas of the Algarve, and perfect for both golfing and family holidays. Situated amongst championship golf courses and only a few minutes' drive to a wide choice of beautiful beaches are many other facilities, such as horse riding, wind surfing, and sailing. Many of the finest restaurants in the Algarve are on your doorstep, as is the fashionable Quinta shopping centre and Bougainvillea Plaza, where you will find boutique shops, restaurants, bars, banks, and a supermarket, and even closer to Villa Mirar is the Pure café on roundabout two.

Rates include maid service Mon-Fri with a midweek bathroom towel change and a weekly bathroom towel change, and a bed linen change. Pool towels, hairdryers, and a safe are provided for your convenience.
